Harry is an up and coming superstar who plays SAP for Bankstown united. At just 10 years of age, Harry is a big striker who possesses great strength, power and finishing ability. Here he is with head coach @danielsaboune working on a bit of speed, explosiveness and core strength. Notice the ankle weights and 3kg medicine ball, this was his 10th repetition of this exercise 😮🔥. The diet of a footballer cannot be underestimated. Your diet will influence your recovery, energy levels, overall health and mood. It is essential that you are fuelling your body in the right way so that your body can work with you, not against you. Would you put water into the gas tank of your car? No! Why? Because the tank was designed in such a way that petrol allows it to run smoothly & efficiently. Similarly, your body can be thought of as a tank. Feed and nourish it with the correct food/drink and it too will run smoothly and efficiently for you. A general rule should be to eat foods that come from the earth or are completely natural. Above is an example of head coach @danielsaboune master chef skills (or lack of). It gives a good indication of what a ‘normal’ meal should look like for an aspiring footballer. Lots of veggies, a bit of carbs and a bit of protein. Another rule: imagine your plate is divided into 4 quarters. Allow 1 for protein, 1 for carbs and 2 for veggies. Make sure to drink lots of water during the day. To be a footballer is more than a few fancy drills. This is a constant struggle, an ever-learning journey and a complete lifestyle👍🏼😊
