This week's leg day 1/2 ✅
Love switching up my training to
1. Prevent boredom and
2. To accomodate to areas I need to work on
Been struggling a bit with progress on barbell back squats so stepped away and tried something different but not too different that I'm neglecting my progress!
Sometimes you've got to compromise in order to grow 👏🏻
changing over programming into full powerlifting and a new DUP to match combined with big improvements in form coming soon. setting up real for usapl in April. @htfu, I love this shirt!! i simply said... I will not be outworked and this shirt translates my mindset without me even having to take out my headphones.

Back day training with @bkkss2k_

My boy Sye is about a 45 days into his fitness journey and he asked me to show him a few things. We trained and it was dope seeing how he was willing to listen & learn. I just help tweak & correct some some of his form which helped really stretch and contract the targeted muscles. Showed him many variations, different back pulls(Vertical & Horizontal). Unilateral & bilateral movements, & movements that require you to engage core and more. He is making good gains and appreciate him allowing me to show him how to help build the physique he is looking for. Keep killing it Sye. Good work! Show some love for my boy & his new fitness journey. More videos to come.

I am one of the few people who believe Cannabis Indica is a good pre-workout. The body high is amazing for pumps and mind muscle connection. But it's effectiveness is only limited to high volume workouts at moderate intensity. If you're planning on maxing out or moving close to maximal weights, Cannabis is a bad idea.

192.5kg x 4 sets x 3 reps - 60.5kg bw. Wrist wraps are bullshit lol. I woke up with sore fingers on my left hand randomly (yes please include your best fingering joke) and I can barely hold a glass of water for some reason. Don't even know what I did but oh well. Anyway I had to use straps today. Makes dead lifting so much easier. The bar travels a shorter distance since I can pull on the bar better + I get better knee and hip lock out at the top. I wonder if doing a block of deads with wrist wraps will translate to regular dead lift strength due to the increased reps / weight using wraps. I personally will be sticking to regular deads, my grip strength fails before my legs so I need to improve lifting without straps.

Top sets of tonight. 505 530 and 540 on an ugly stuff bar. Used hooks to save my hands due to them being shredded from the other days session. Low end felt heavier than normal breaking the floor but lockout was easy. This was testing my weaknesses. Looks like I'll be implementing more deficits. Besides that weight felt pretty easy.

Snatch-grip deads are by far my favorite pull for back activation - my upper back always feels lit up after these 🔥 Bonus points for being heavy in the hammies too! Now to keep my hips a tiny bit lower... Easy day: 4x5 @ 105kg/231#
