Yeah ! They have arrived ! Biodégradable bamboo toothbrushes. .
.
Every year millions on plastic toothbrushes end up in the landfill.
.
.
Remember that we did not inherit Earth from our parents, we borrowed it from our children.
.
.
Still time to to the right thing and choose better alternatives.

Where once this great island used to be covered in virgin tropical rainforest, supporting the life of some of earths greatest creatures, it is now becoming home to some of the world's largest palm oil plantations.

It really did shock and sadden me how much of the rainforest has been cut down. Flying from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau, and then onto Semporna today, Palm Oil plantations were literally as far as the eye could see in all directions. This has had a devastating effect on the populations of species that live here, with many nearly becoming extinct.

Although, having read today that the EU have voted to phase out the use of Palm Oil by the year 2021, hopefully the rest of the world will follow suit.

Ola amigos!  Here is a image from one of my most liked Instagramers. I am going to include the original caption below.  Enjoy!
(((The striking south polar region of our solar system’s largest inhabitant, Jupiter, was viewed by our Juno (@NASAJuno) spacecraft as it neared completion of its 10th close flyby on Dec. 16, 2017. The “empty” space above and below Jupiter in this color-enhanced image can trick the mind, causing the viewer to perceive the gas giant planet is less colossal than it is. In reality, Jupiter is wide enough to fit 11 Earths across!
Citizen scientist Gerald Eichstädt processed this image using data from the JunoCam imager. All of JunoCam's raw images are available for the public to peruse and process into image products! Just visit www.missionjuno.swri.edu/junocam.
In Greek and Roman mythology, Jupiter drew a veil of clouds around himself to hide his mischief. It was Jupiter's wife, the goddess Juno, who was able to peer through the clouds and reveal Jupiter's true nature. Our Juno spacecraft arrived at planet Jupiter on July 4, 2016, not seeking signs of misbehavior, but to help us to understand the planet's structure and history.
