Love this @drnadolsky
😂
Being a ‘beast’ with a BMI >30 is only cool if you’re the size of Arnie or a member of the New Zealand All Blacks ......... Like a lot of escalating myths and rumours! I hear everyday, we always hear that BMI is a flawed measurement for screening for overall health. BMI is genuinely a brilliant tool to assess obesity and related health implications across the majority of the general population. On the BMI scale; (>30) is suggested to be correlated with a waist circumference of 94cm (37in) or more in men and 80cm (31.5in) or More in women. These correlations of BMI and waist circumference are suggested to increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis and many more obesity related problems.....
🧐
Don’t get it twisted! If your a sumo wrestler, rugby player or body builder with extremely high muscle mass! Rock on 🤘, but if you’re someone with extremely high abdomen fat percentage and >30 on the BMI, time to stop pretending!

Do you feel you can’t go out for food when you’re on a journey to lose body fat?
#
Flexible dieting is a great tool that I use on myself and with my clients. It essentially means you can eat any food so long as you meet your calorie allowance and macro nutrient targets.
#
The beauty with flexible dieting is it allows you to enjoy nice things which in turn aids adherence and success to the process

No food is off limits. What happens when you ‘can’t have something?’ You want it even more right?
#
It is however often associated with people eating like assholes posting pictures of pizza and donuts however this is a bit of a misconception.
#
Following flexible dieting effectively still means consuming 80% of calories from nutritious foods which then allows flexibility so while pizza can be incorporated into calories you won’t be eating them everyday.
Health is still important and your body won’t work optimally without the correct fuel in the tank.
#
Tracking calories to some is inconvenient however if you want to become more educated on food it’s a great methodology particularly when you’re monitoring body composition and then allowing for more flexibility.
#
You absolutely can enjoy a cream egg everyday if you wished to do so.
#
In my breakfast I asked for no butter to be added to my food, I brought my lean turkey rashers and 1kcal spray butter light to control additional calories from butter which amounts up quickly.
Volume is always important while in a calorie deficit. 😁

Morning guys - it’s Friyay 😬. I’ve lost my flow a bit this week , as I’ve been poorly on and off. Eaten a few more carbs than I normally would like toast (and maybe the odd biscuit or two). I mean, who goes off fruit and veg when they’re not feeling 💯? I certainly do for some reason 🤨. Anyway, trying to get back into the swing of things this morning with toast Hexb and avocado (6). With a sprinkle of chilli flakes. This should start me off for a hunger free morning at work 🙌🏻. Have a great day lovelies 😘 #breakfast #toast #avocado #friyay #food #vegetarian #love #❤️ #sw #veggie #swfood #post #plantbased #slimmingworld #lifestyle #diet #extraeasy #me #like #weightloss #diary #transform #healthy #weightlossblog #whatieat #instafood #foodpic #foodblogger #fattofit
