radiobahrain Scorcher - Work Get It ft. Wretch 32 Mercston Ari,
Release date 04 August 2014
Scorcher (real name Tayo Jarrett) is a grime MC and producer from North London. Like most emcees, Scorcher began his journey by working his way through the underground ranks. He and fellow emcees/friends Ghetts, Wretch32 and Devlin established ‘The Movement’ crew in 2006 . This was a group of like-minded lyricists who collaborated together to practice their trade together. Fast forward to 2012 he is now signed to Universal’s Geffen Records and has gone from strength to strength.
Scorcher recently said: “I just try and find style in everything I do… If I’m not in the studio, even if I’m at the cinema, watching the boxing, or at home catching up with Miami Ink, bowling, or weighing up which Superbike to get next, I’m always thinking of delivering class to an occasion. I would like to be seen as a timeless and versatile artist”.
Scorcher, one of the leading Grime MC’s in the UK, known not just for his powerful music and production but for his acting in channel 4′s Top Boy and his many award nominations and wins, is back with a brand new Hip Hop track featuring fellow past members of The Movement, Wretch 32 and Mercston. Taken from Scorcher’s third mixtape in the “Simply The Best” series, “Work Get It” also features singer Ari on the hook for this inspirational and motivational anthem, as they take you on a journey of the upcoming to success, rhyming about the many perks of success, but also reminding us that work pays off, and to get all that you desire takes work. Ari adds a bit of Urban flava to the Trap-inspired Hip Hop production by Toby Shy Boy, and all three MC’s drop excellent lyrics, and going extra hard with the flows, with double time flows, and slow easing flows Wretch, all bringing different styles to the track. Take a listen right now above and leave us your feedback in the comments

radiobahrain Duke Dumont follows up two successive number 1′s with ‘Won’t Look Back’

Duke Dumont – Won’t Look Back

UK & Bahrain Release date 25 August 2014
Two singles in, two number ones secured, and it looks as if Duke Dumont’sexplosive success, built around last years track ‘Need U (100%)’ (Nominated for the 2014 Grammy for best dance track), and‘I Got U’, is showing no signs of waning. After building up a substantial catalogue of high profile remixes over the last few years, and with a greatly anticipated debut LP on the way, the London Born DJ has a lot of eyes and ears pointing his way in 2014. He unveils the visual for third single from the record ‘Won’t Look Back’, marking the third release from his own recently birthed label Blasé Boys Club, a name in the past used as a production alias.
Whatever happened to the humble Balaclava? It seems rubber replications of celebrity’s faces are the only suitable disguise for a jewellery robbery these days, as in the video we witness a group of would be thieves attempt a heist, donning masks of members of the royal family. Before breaking into the store armed only with some form of extreme pogo sticks, which then double up as a means of escape. The revised modes of transport seen in the video don’t stop there as we see the pursuing police officer choosing to disregard his police car for the chase in favour of a Segway, obviously, making for one of the oddest police pursuits ever.
‘Won’t look back’, is released at the end of what will have been a summer of culmination for the Blasé Boys Club founder, dropping on the 25th of August. The track itself is closer to the upbeat house bounce of ‘Need U (100%)’ than the comparatively lighter second single. But coming equipped with an infectious piano roll and soulful vocal hook this is definitely the most uplifting of his releases to date. An unapologetically ecstatic 4 minute mid summer jam, with which he will be hoping to make a return to, the upper reaches of the UK singles charts, a position he’s becoming increasingly accustomed to and looking quite comfortable in to say the least.

radiobahrain Nicki Minaj - Anaconda
Release date UK & Bahrain 05thOctober 2014
Anaconda is a song by American recording artist Nicki Minaj, from her upcoming third studio album, The Pinkprint (2014). It was released onAugust 4, 2014 by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Republic Records as the second single from the record.[1] Production for the track was handled by Polow Da Don and Da Internz.  In 2012, the song was originally recorded by five-time Grammy Award-winning musician Missy Elliott, however due to undisclosed reasons Elliott shelved the track and was then re-recorded by Minaj. The cover art for the single went viral on the web after being revealed. On various digital music stores, the cover is censored with a Parental Advisorylabel over her buttocks. The song extensively samples "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot.  In the United States, the song debuted at number 3 on the Digital Songs chart selling 141,000 digital downloads in its first week. Additionally, as Minaj shares lead credit on "Bang Bang", which was number 2 on that same chart in the same week, Minaj became the first lead act to have two concurrent songs in the top three of the chart since the September 22, 2012list. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song debuted at number 19, marking Minaj's 51st Hot 100 hit and subsequently breaking out of a tie with Michael Jackson for overall career Hot 100 entries.
