what if, you could reprogram your mind from curmudgeon, unfulfilled, stuck, blah, blaming, excuses to ultimate bliss Every (most) Single Day.

well you can. I have done it. I am the evidence.

here's the not so secret formula that Many are putting into practice these days: .
- punch yourself in the face to start (litterly or figuratively lol)
- read the Untethered Soul (twice) by Michael A. Singer
- meditate
- spend time alone - sit in silence
- lie on floor in dark and actually listen to the music
- less (preferably zero) TV, news, Trump, superficial conversations, pointless internets
- be conscious of how you are spending your time
- be kind
- be genuine
- be vulnerable - it's scary AF!
- speak your mind
- leave bad energy behind. Adios.
- surround yourself with awesome
- become who you want to attract
- give #zerofucks about what others think
- talk about your shit - cry
- cry in public
- cry with friends, family, dogs
- do yoga
- exercise
- finish your showers ice cold (last 30 seconds)
- be with people that lift you up!
- think about the perfect life
- have your mind blown when it starts to come to reality
- have your mind blown with each realization about the past
- breathe
- unfollow crap that makes you feel like shit
- follow stuff that makes you feel good. what a concept!
- connect with strangers
- look them in the eye and think 'I see you human!'
- do good things and expect zero in return (only karma creds ;) )
- smile
- use the tools - help others
- ooze love
- drink less
- take time for you .

results may vary. formula is not perfect, yet. but def. worth a shot.

External rotation of the hip ... this unknown movement ... in my still young experience in Yoga I have always wondered why many practitioners complain about problems in the meniscus and ligaments of the knees ... the answer is soon said ... when you put half the EGO and approach positions like the lotus and worse still positions with the legs behind the head without knowing how to externally rotate the femur and tibia to not create unnatural twists in the knee, here will be the problems ... first of all you have to make free the coxo-femoral joints (also) and ankle joints (ankles) ... in this video @davidrobsonyoga adjusts me in Supta Kurmasana, one of my favorite positions !!!

1 Sierra yoga practice has been in hiatus for WAY TOO LONG!!! Some injuries I incurred in January set me back BIG TIME. I'm not sure which was worse - the constant physical discomfort and migraines I've been getting (on almost a daily basis) or the psychological impact of (1) being injured just as I was nearing the end of my 300-hour yoga teacher certification, (2) being unable to film yoga videos for Go Healthy (big financial burden = major stress), or (3) being away from my practice. Pretty sure that last one was the one that set me back the most. All those negative thoughts started racing back into my mind. All the "what ifs" and "poor me" thoughts. I began to sink back into my anxiety with a big side of depression to go with. Why didn't I just do restorative? I don't know. I tried to practice a couple of times a couple of weeks after my accident and ended up incredibly nauseous with migraine. And as any of you unfortunate souls who also experience migraines, you know how debilitating they are. 🤯🤮 FINALLY, I realized that BECAUSE I hadn't been doing yoga, that's why this black cloud found its way above me. I knew my practice would have to be modified for an unknown amount of time, but I also knew that the practice, done the right way, would begin to lengthen my spine again and eventually reduce the pressure where I am injured. Hopefully. But after so much time, and so much pain, I was scared to go back. Isn't that ridiculous?!?! I knew I needed it, but I was petrified to even try.
Until today.
Last night I went to bed with the plan to get up and head to YogaWorks Larchmont for @annevanyoga ‘s 8:30 class. She's an amazing instructor and teaches a level 1 class, which is what I needed after being away from my mat for so long. I'd tried so many times to get to her class or Amy La Fond's, but my anxious mind held me back. 🙈

But today I went. I made it to class. And WOW did it feel AMAZING!!! My intention was to show up early so I could get a spot at the back wall. I didn't want anyone looking at my stiff body trying to get into poses. But of course I was late and the only spot that was available was dead center in the middle of the room. 🙄
