Last night, he got home from work at 2AM. Today at 7AM is his niece' Physics exam. They've been having tutorials for 2 nights in a row. I'm impressed at both of them. Him still having the strength to teach after a long day of work and her willing to wait that late and still be alert enough to absorb lectures. Thank heavens he's good at letters with numbers because I know next to nothing about it. I can help with anything but this.

These are his notes when he was studying for his board exam. He's happy he kept them, didn't think he'd be needing them again. He sent this photo very early in the morning. Oh wait, now he's awake. End of #storytime.

Did you know this sunset is a mirage? By the time you're witnessing it the sun has already set. It is only visible to us because the Earth's atmosphere acts like a lens and refracts the light, making it appear like the sun is still there. In reality, it's not. A combination of refraction and the fact that it takes 8 minutes for the sunlight to reach us means that we're actually seeing the sun as it was in the past. Kinda' shatters the romance of sunsets, but "is it not stirring to understand how the world actually works? It does no harm to the romance of the sunset to know a little bit about it." #CarlSagan #GotScience?
