This new + beautifully bold @rayoandhoney pennant brings intersectionality home to roost. It calls on Fannie Lou Hamer's historic 1971 speech, which focused on the importance of black and white women working together towards freedom—for all. Link in bio.

There is no way to accurately describe what it feels like when inspiration is followed to an outcome.
For me, it is a heavy blanket of trance like calm wrapping it’s self around my shoulders when I become a conduit for artistry.
Felt under fingertips, pushing letters
pushing
letters
pushing
letters over a chasm of canvas. Conjuring emotion through brief narratives of my own construct.
And when the fog of genesis rolls away from my temples I am left to survey the result of having connected with glory.

Inspired by French classroom tools used to educate children re: the world around them, Carrie Marill’s “Flying, Shipping and Selling” depicts what has evolved or devolved socially and environmentally since the 1950s.
