@lucie_s_ correction, liquid Nitrogen is approved by the FDA. The concept is widely present in the United States. LN (Liquid Nitrogen) is used in various medical and food processors and can cause no harm to the consumer.
I didn't find the FDA Approval page actually.. However this is the article I was referring to ... @abt_bf http://healthland.time.com/2012/10/10/why-liquid-nitrogen-is-dangerous/
Even if it's trendy it doesn't mean it is safe ... Jst saying eat/drink carefully & wisely :-)
@lucie_s_ i agree and am very much aware of this ONE article that was posted 2012. As i said, liquid nitrogen is not harmful from the consumer stand point. The liquid turns into gas in a manner of seconds mainly when mixed in the blender. (Friction caused by blades increases temperature and turn liquid to vapor). My point is simply that this process has been widely used all over the globe (mainly developed countries at least since 2012, if it was of real danger i believe the concept would've ceased to exist.
@lucie_s_ I agree, theres absolutely no harm in being cautious and alert :-)
