I am way from malls, big stores, busy streets.. #MotivationMonday 🤗🤗
I am soooo glad I used to take more photos facing the camera!! 😹 Do yourself a favor and zoom in on my extremely annoyed face in my picture from 2013! 😹😹 When I first started taking yoga classes - #SidePlank was the bane of my existence. I had very very little upper body strength.. and it took only a few seconds for me to start shaking and collapsing out of the pose. Side plank made me feel weak and powerless. I think my face shows it all 🙌🏻
Well you know what “they” say! The pose you hate the most is the one you need the most.. or something like that 😬 I’ve certainly come a super long way here 💪🏻💪🏻
I’m posting this for motivation Monday to reiterate the fact that we don’t all start off being able to do all that you see in our photos. We all have a journey. We all have our struggles. Think about which pose this is for you right now. One that you absolutely dread. Just know that chances are, if you continue on with your practice, you won’t always feel that way. I LOVE this one now. It gives me the exact opposite feeling it once did. I now feel strong and powerful.. and it’s one of my favorites 🙌🏻🖤 #DontGiveUp #PracticeMakesProgress #ConsistencyIsKey 👊🏻👊🏻

☝️Don't forget, once you clear up that t-spine extension make sure to work that rotation! Even more important if you need to rotate for work or sport!

Here's How To Perform this T-Spine Rotation Exercise!

1️⃣Lay on the Ground with your head supported (I'm using a pillow)
2️⃣The bottom leg will be straight.
3️⃣The top leg will be bent to hip level and on a foam roller or something similar.
4️⃣While laying on your side, extend your arms straight in front of the chest.
5️⃣Rotate the body, so the hands are pointing towards the sky.
6️⃣Separate the arms and let the outside arm lower to the ground.
🔁Repeat

Are you ready?
ALMOND BUTTER 😊
. Ingredients:
500 g whole almonds with skin
2 tablespoons of cold-pressed coconut extra virgin olive oil * .
Photo 2. Roast the almonds in the oven at 140 ° for 40 minutes or until the almonds have a nice browny color (not too dark) and make them cool down.
Photo 3. Put the almonds in a food processor.
Photo 4. Blend the almonds until you get creamy mixture (it took me about 10 minutes). Photo 5. Add coconut oil and blend again for 1 or 2 minutes. . *Coconut oil is optional, but makes the butter super creamy and deliciously scented 😋

BURRO DI MANDORLE 😊 .
Ingredienti:
500 gr mandorle intere con la pellicina
2 cucchiai di olioextravergine cocco spremuto a freddo * .
Foto 2. Tostare le mandorle in forno a 140° per 40 minuti o fino a quando le mandorle non avranno un bel color marrone (non troppo scuro) e lasciatele raffredddare).
Foto 3. Mettere le mandorle in un robot da cucina.
Foto 4. Tritare le mandorle fino a quando non otterrete un composto cremoso (mi ci sono voluti circa10 minuti).
Foto 5. Aggiungere l'olio di cocco e frullare ancora per 1 o 2 minuti. . * L'olio di cocco è facoltativo, ma rende il burro super cremoso e deliziosamente profumato 😋
