With mega life changing #plasticsurgery just days away now AND my last #halfmarathon of the season, I'm focusing this week on just how to get through the week! Tagged by the wonderful @thatswhatsheeats, I'm asked frequently how did you do it? Besides the obvious, I set both short and long term goals that did NOT include food as a reward. So, being the ball of nerves that I am, I've set out with 5 simple and small goals to get through the week as in tact as possible!
1) Drink ONLY water or almond milk protein shakes. Carbonation will fill you up. Juices are just unneeded sugars and calories. If you're unsure of how much you should be drinking, there's plenty of info out there to multiply and divide your body weight by. However, my goal has always been one gallon.
2) Move every day. I have 3 short runs scheduled before Sundays run and 3 strength training work outs on the calendar. This I know will give me an outlet for my pent up jitters and if I can get them done in the morning I feel like I have more of my shit together that day.
3) Get your fruits, veggies and protein in, Sara. Doesn't mean though I won't sneak a Reeses cup post half Sunday when I trunk or treat or enjoy a glass of wine on date night.
4) Practice self love and self care. This includes going gentle on myself. If my to do list doesn't get done, if every box in the garage doesn't get unpacked, if I God forbid forget the chicken nuggets at the grocery store... the world will not end and I will not scold myself for forgetting. I also will make time to get my eye brows waxed and have one last fantastic bubble bath. This does NOT include an ice bath.
5) I Will write my planned love letters to the kids. No joke, Adam and I have agreed to lock myself behind our bedroom door so the kids don't rush in and accidentally bounce on me. I've heard the first few days/week even are pretty brutal. I've explained to the kids but I know my youngest 2, especially Liam, won't understand this. My goal is to write each a letter that they can hold onto while I recoup those first few days. //
I'm tagging a few of my favorite girls. Play a long if you'd like and tag me so I can see!
In the photo on the left I was 185 to 194. My heaviest was 200 lbs on a 5’2 frame. Currently I’m 149 lbs...Still have a ways to go! 😊...at my heaviest, I did not see the damage I was doing to myself. But I felt it! -Get over the guilt.....take time for yourself and to truly love yourself ❤️
-You have a lot to offer this world. .

MOTIVATION MONDAY‼️‼️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I love Tina's story‼️ If you know a mom who is stressed, wishing she could lose a few pounds, not sleeping, PLEASE share this with them. You have no idea the gift you're giving...❤️🙏🏻❤️ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ "I started using some of these nutritional products when I was 6 months pregnant and then slowly began incorporating more products post-pregnancy. While pregnant, the first thing I noticed was my incredible energy levels during my 3rd trimester! As you mommies out there know, the 3rd trimester is alot like the 1st where you're so lethargic tired all the time. Well, I never took naps and had constant energy all day long...and still do to this day! That extra energy really helps with the crazy hectic schedule of any parent! The next thing I noticed was that my post baby weight was melting off SO RAPIDLY! For the first 2 months I couldn't even work out because of my c-section recovery....and I still lost about 20 lbs‼️‼️ If you're still thinking about if these products work or that you're not sure if you're ready to get started yet...don't hesitate and take that first step towards a healthier and happier lifestyle! You will not regret it!" #breastfeeding #prego #lifestyle #healthymind #mind #body #pregnant #weightlosssurgery #gastricsleeve #babyfat #bariatric #pregnancy #losingfat #wls #wlsjourney #thirdtrimester #mom #losingweight #secondtrimester #bariatricsurgery #lapband #gastricbypass #weightlosssupport #weightloss #weightlossjourney #workfromhomemom #stayathomemom
