🦍PERTH ZOO🦍 we spent the morning at Perth Zoo yesterday. First time I’ve been there in 15 years I think. It was BRILLIANT. I didn’t take many good photos because I was too busy having fun and seeing all the things. Really beautiful environments, happy well looked after animals and impressive conservation work being done by them. The girls had the best time ever and ran so much they were absolutely spent after 3 hours. Seriously fun outing for the whole family. .

I was going through my old pictures, and I remembered how I miss Australia. I miss being out in nature. I miss the sun. I miss the food (I mean... Obviously) and I miss the people. Thinking about my time in Australia gives me a feeling like no other. Like a person you miss but you know you'll love forever. If Australia were a person, that's how I'd feel about them. It gives me a deep feeling of sadness but at the same time joy and gratitude. But the kind of joy that makes you want to cry. I can't explain it, but anyway, I found some photos I like, mostly food because I don't really post my life online (unless it involves food 🙄) but these food pictures remind me of people, of places, of moments and that's why I like them so much. They're like little pieces of memory that trigger other pieces of memory. Anyway, this one isn't food but it's some trees, and the beach, in Fremantle, Western Australia, which is probably where I'd live if I could. I loved life in Freo, the beach, the little independent shops, the atmosphere, just walking around, barefoot. Most of the pictures I'll post next will probably be in Freo, as that's where we were at least once a week, that's where we spent my birthday, too. That was basically where we spent our weekends.
