HANGOVER HELL ..decided to train with @veganmanbun the day after a messy night and as always he killed me, pushed me to limits I thought I couldn't reach and believed in me I would of never of thought I could of got chin ups with added weight nevermind after doing about 50 🙈 but he's taught me to believe in myself as I'm alot stronger than i believe so here is a snippet of 2.5 hours hanging ! He is amazingly skilled and talented and My abs hurt for once!!

My goal for this Olympic lifting meet was to compete in 53kg and make national standard... AND I DID IT! I put forth dedication towards training, nutrition and focus that earned me a gold medal and national standard for the 53kg category!⠀

Here is my last clean and jerk which I felt really good about execution wise! Tons more training to be done but I’m proud of accomplishing goals in life and I love sharing it with others. ⠀

Thanks for following my journey through athletics, I appreciate it more than you know 🏋🏻‍♀️🥇

Why does it annoy me so much when guys come up and ask how many sets I have left or if they can jump in when they literally just saw me walk up and start my workout🙄🙄 still managed to have a good leg session eventually tho so yay 🙏🏼💦

One common issue when back squatting is squatting with an excessive forward lean. .
- What is happening?
The squatter will break at the hips first, hips travel backwards too far, the barbell travels forward past the mid-foot as a counter weight and neutral spine position is often lost with hips rolling underneath them.
- How to resolve the issue.
One great tool when trying to improve technique is to video the lift, this will facilitate getting feedback on every rep. As much of this issue is cause by a breakdown of skill, feedback will be very helpful in resolving it. Strive to make every rep technically better than the one before it.
Additionally, it will be helpful to incorporate a goblet squat in your warm up. .
Important things to remember are: try break at the knee and hip simultaneously, keep the line of the bar over the mid-foot and only squat through a range where it is possible to maintain a neutral back position.
- How to adapt the exercise to suit you.
If someone does lean forward excessively when squatting there are two things to be aware of in terms of why to adapt the exercise.
Firstly, as the movement then becomes so vastly different from what it should be it is possible that the exercise is not giving you the return you want from it.
Secondly, if someones hips are tucking underneath them that is a position which is best to avoid.
To adapt the exercise we recommend squatting to a box where the box limits the range to a range where the squatter can maintain a neutral back position and avoid their hips rolling underneath them. As they become more proficient at squatting the box can be lowered and ultimately removed.

Did some chest and some slight delt work tonight. As you can see this is my side I tore my pec, slight volume missing but it’s made my front head of my delt really popping 😆 I can’t wait to see conditioning and shape much more and really bring that round full , dense muscle come to show most muscular pose I wanna look like it hurts and I’m about to burst! Body composition has changed so much over the two years off. Time to up the antidote. 💯
