"I started this journey because I was tired of feeling tired. I was tired of being described as the "chunky one". I was tired of being afraid of doing active events with my friends. So I decided to make a change and little by little I started seeing results. I started feeling better, more energized, and happier.
I started sharing my journey to help others and assure them that there is hope.Natural weight-loss is hard but not impossible. I train for results. Yes I could have dropped more weight by now, but this is life style not a race. So I give my body time to adjust, make modifications as needed and I train for strength not a number on the scale. A number on the scale won't make love your body or even love you. Don't let the scale define you. Let you define you. Body positivity is appreciating you for what you are, how far you've come and how beautiful you feel."

#nsv when you realise your skirt is so big you can see your shoes without undoing the buttons... Really need to go clothes shopping soon! But I keep putting it off because I know I still need to shrink more!

Actually..I lied, I’m gonna exercise now that I woke up cuz idk I feel like a fat fuck. If I exercise for the next three hours, I’ll burn around 900 that’s what a website said at least. I’m rounding down so it should be accurate I hope.

In today’s society one is either too skinny, too fat, too muscular..etc..All that matters people is what you think and no one else!! Everyone has their own perfect and mine is being curvy in the right places.. Mind you I am far from perfect I have stretch marks and lose skin from has 5 csections. Yes...I could not bare my children naturally because of my small frame..Nevertheless if I wanted to be skinny I could be but I’m loving my mom body.. current stats 1 year postpartum size 0-2 -weight 115 32-25-36 #postpartum #mom #bodygoals

Operation: make @skinnymeg31 zucchini lasagna, complete. There is so much chaos with Thanksgiving coming up in our lives, so I’ve planned out my meals, including Thanksgiving, to be sure I stay as close as I can to hitting my macros each day. This week will be a whirlwind for our family, too. Josh and I are headed out of town tomorrow for our anniversary for the evening, hosting a friends thanksgiving on Wednesday, traveling out of town to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family, and then headed to Florida the day after. Needless to say, if meals aren’t prepped, I’m going to be eating junk! What’s on your menu for the week and how are you planning to stay on track through the week?

@patriciaelaina I reached my heaviest weight somewhere around 300 pounds because I was using food to deal with my unhappiness. I knew I needed to do something drastic to change because my weight was out of control. I started eating clean eating along with exercise and the weight started coming off. Even on the tough days when I felt like giving up I would remember how far I've come. I told myself that there was no end date and this IS my lifestyle now. It did not happen overnight but with patience, consistency and hard work the results did happen...I've lost over 100 pounds! I continue to set new goals for myself because it helps to keep me on track. So often our selves are the biggest barrier between success or failure...when actually inside each of us is the power to succeed. Never give up!. .
