Oh, Hello!⠀

I figured I'd introduce myself so you can put a face and personality to my name. ⠀

I’m Tara, the designer and blogger behind Whipped Dream. ✨🤗✨⠀

Five years ago, a fellow female entrepreneur friend of mine inspired me to create my own business. ⠀

I didn’t know what I wanted to do exactly at the time, all I knew was that I wanted create something that gave me more freedom in my life.⠀

To me, freedom meant having a flexible schedule, being able to work from anywhere and being able to do design work that was more aligned with my style and personality.⠀

In addition, I wanted to find my purpose, I needed a challenge and I craved a business and lifestyle that brought me more happiness and less stress.⠀

So I quit my 9-5 job (without much of a plan... I'm a bit of an adventurist 🤘🏻😎) and just figured it out along the way.⠀

Fast forward 5 years, and what seemed like a million learning curves, challenges and stressful situations later... here I am. Alive and well. 😁👍🏻⠀

I'm now the happiest I have ever been, living the lifestyle of my dreams and doing what I love every day! 💜⠀

Whipped Dream was the first business I started, and it's gone through lots of changes throughout the years, but what I've figured out along the way is that branding, website design, blogging and online marketing is my jam. My true passion.⠀

Oh yeah, and I've also created 3 OTHER BLOGS since I started my entrepreneurial journey and continue to maintain them all by myself to this day (that's the magic 🌟 of #passiveincome).⠀

So I guess that makes me a solopreneur or even a serial entrepreneur! ⠀

Anyways, through all of my experiences, I want to share what I've learned so that I can help other women achieve their own version of success... whatever that looks like to them! ⠀

It is crazy looking back at old designs I have done for websites and to see how much I have grown since then. When you learn how to truly tap into your creative mind it is insane what can come from it. I am very excited to be working with @theflexiblefoodie on a website and bring her a fantastic user inspired design. *On a side note this is just a mock up for the layout of the website. The color scheme and proper font choices haven’t been added yet.

Um case antigo, mas de sucesso é o da marca brasileira Natura. Em meados dos anos 2000, a marca resolveu que iria investir pesado em pesquisa e desenvolvimento, novas instalações das suas sedes, no e-commerce, e também no mercado exterior.

Para este novo momento, a empresa então fez pesquisas com colaboradores, consultoras e consumidores que apontavam que a imagem da Natura ideal era de uma personalidade elegante, ativa e atualizada, diferente da passada pela logomarca antiga, com um traço pesado que dava a ideia de algo estático, e tradicional. Logo, a imagem antiga não combinava com a proposta de maior investimento em expansão de negócios e nem com a audiênciada da marca.

A partir daí a empresa passou por um processo de reformulação da identidade visual. O resultado foi um logo com mais movimento, leveza e clareza, adequado a proposta de crescimento da empresa, e mais atrativo ao público alvo da marca. Consequentemente, a marca fidelizou o seu público antigo, e passou a ser melhor reconhecida entre seus prospectos.
