Another struggle for me is getting enough water in my body
I’ve never liked really drinking water even with adding flavor to it, it just was difficult
Working out 6 days a week has shown me how important water is because I feel sluggish and my lips were constantly dry if I didn’t drink enough
With doing #80dayobsession and doing the #timednutrition drinking enough water is A MUST!!!
The very first day I struggled, not eating but feeling hungry in between meals and snacks and I felt like I was going to faint .
Mostly I felt like I was going to fail while everyone was succeeding
I confided in my amazing team and challenge group and asked what I was doing wrong...everyone said “WATER” lmao....I was like “UGH” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No now on day 3 I am no longer hungry in between my meals and I have an app to help me keep track to make sure I’m drinking plenty of water .
Now I may not get to 100% everyday but 87% is pretty good for me
Learning as I go and it gets me even more excited to see what my results are going to look like at the end of 80 days

Water 🤦... Is your best friend.👭 Replacing juice and soda with water can help you eliminate empty calories and avoid excess sugar that can lead to weight gain and increase the risk of prediabetes and diabetes.
Drinking water before you eat can help you get full quicker and eliminate going back for seconds 😁. When you have the desire to eat when youre not hungry try drinking water. Alot of times we think we are hungry when we really are thirsty.
If water is boring to you (it is to me!) Try adding fruit to it, or lemon, or drinking ice cold water (which works for me). Water also helps give clearer skin and promotes healthy moisturized hair. 💆 #fitness #fitgirl #waterisgoodforyou

Here is a great tip that we all should retain in mind as we are doing our fitness regime. I am sure many of us often question about how much water intake is sufficient for the day.
Water intake relies on a simple math based on your weight. You can calculate your weight and divide it by 2 to get the amount of ounces you need to consume of water. For example: 220 lbs divided by 2= 110 oz of water per day.
But wait, we all have to remember that we are depleting water as we do a vigorous work out. That means we need to add approximately 12 ounces of water for every 30 minutes of your work out. So this means for the 60 minutes of my work out, I need to add 24 ounces of water to my daily total of water intake. Example: 110 oz. +24 oz= 134 oz
I know it may sound like so much of water. Water is so vital to your fitness regime and you will even notice a gradual change with your hair, skin, body and even stamina!

2/2: 82.6kgs/181lbs 'Success' to me isn't a placement or medal in comparison to others. It's on goals that hinge on me doing my best against my previous self! (Setting goals hinged on external variables always seem short sighted)
#RealTalk. My 'goal' was to see if I could compete at 83kgs and see how my body would respond. I successfuly water cut 16.5lbs of water to compete at 83kgs. It was enormously difficult, punishing and mentally demanding beyond words TBH. A last minute decision/misstep to eat one small meal saw the cut go from 10ish lbs... To 16.5lbs. I would not recommend anyone to do this. Ever. It was beyond agonizing, and even perhaps dangerous to dehydrate to this degree. There isn't really any 'healthy' way to do this. I did it the method with the least amount of time spent dehydrated. It was still beyond gnarly. However, I'm proud to have met a goal of doing something I doubted I could do - and for the experiential knowledge from it. #SoThirsty #WaterIsGoodForYou ...

So what happens to all the vital body parts when we are not consuming enough water? Many people drink more soda 🥤a day then they do water. So they are replacing the water their bodies need with sugar and chemicals. Too much sugar in the body has an affect in your brain 🧠similar to that of other addictive substances. It spikes your dopamine levels. Dopamine is like a reward for the body and makes you feel good. So your body in turn wants more dopamine, and how did you get that feeling? From more sugary soda🥤.
