How to Perform Better in the Gym⠀

1. Focus on recovery: you spend one to two hours in the gym, yet the rest of the time is spent outside. Sleeping, working, resting. Focus more of your efforts making sure that time away from the gym is assisting your efforts during training, and you'll get good results.⠀

2. Do a proper warm up: you need to start thinking of the warmup as your time to get the body ready to perform at it's best. Athletes warmup, surely you, the person who isn't a naturally talented, could make use of a warmup to get the most of your efforts.⠀

3. Turn off your phone: just focus on the task at hand. You'll have the rest of your recovery time to ruin with constant social media checking.⠀

4. Get a coach: of course we'd say this. But a coach's job is to help you focus solely on the performance as they teach you the process to getting results, so that you can continue to do it by yourself.
