Edinburgh, Scotland. I can’t wait to return to this beautiful city.
A few more ones from the Dragon Parade on Sunday and a video of the fireworks!

London. Where do you start?

London is the largest city in Europe, and often sets trends around the world. Given my last post about the East Coast Main Line, let’s start with the railway.

London, built in 1863 is home to the world’s oldest underground railway, also known as the Tube. The first section ran between Paddington and Farringdon (Hammersmith & City/Circle/Metropolitan Lines), which is still in use today. However, the majority of the London Underground, 55%, is actually above ground. Speaking of Emirates Stadium in my last story, did you know that Arsenal is the only London football (soccer) team to have an Underground station named after them? #themoreyouknow #visitlondon #prettycitylondon #theprettycities #cntraveler #lovegreatbritain #photosofengland #photosofbritain #visitbritain #prettylittlelondon #timeoutlondon #guardiantravelsnaps #topeuropephoto #ig_europe #toplondonphoto #mydarlinglondon #london4all #passionpassport #iamatraveler #bbcbritain #thelondonlifeinc #europe_vacations #bestcitybreaks #living_europe #hello_worldpics #beautifulmatters #mytinyatlas #tlpicks #suitcasetravels
Having posted travel photos of various countries this past year, I thought it’s about time I posted an image of my home city - which coincidently is my favourite city in the world #London. This image was taken on a cold Saturday evening during the London Lumiere light festival which is an incredible event to kick off the new year, and best of all - it’s one of the many free things to see in London 😀
