Sadly not many animals are this lucky, to escape and have a positive outcome...
_
"A cow has been living alone on an island, attacking anyone who comes near, after staging a miraculous escape on her way to a slaughterhouse.
_
The animal made her bid for safety last month after she refused to get into a lorry taking her to be killed for meat. Instead she rammed a metal fence before making a dash for the nearby Lake Nysa, south Poland.
_
After the cow’s "owner", known only as Mr Lukasz, attempted to get her back to the farm, the cow broke one of his worker’s arms, according to Polish news show Wiadomosci.
_
She then entered the water and swam to one of the islands in the middle of the lake. Mr Lukasz said he even saw her dive underwater on her way.
_
After a week of trying and failing to get the cow back, Mr Lukasz gave up and began making sure she was fed enough food to stay alive instead.
_
When firefighters used a boat to get to the island, the cow swam about 50 metres to a neighbouring peninsula. Pawel Gotowski, deputy commander of the fire brigade in Nysa, said the animal was frightened but healthy.
_
A vet called in to tranquillise the animal told Mr Lukasz he had run out of gas cartridges, and that it would take several days to get new ones.
_
Despite the farmer considering having her shot dead, a political leader in the town of Nysa, Czeslaw Bilobran, has reportedly said the cow will live out her life in peace.
_
Politician and former singer, Pawel Kukiz, raised the animal's plight on Wednesday in a Facebook post in which he offered to pay for the “hero cow” to be saved from death.
_
“She escaped heroically and infiltrated the island in the middle of the lake, where she remains today,” Mr Kukiz said, according to Polish news magazine Wprost. “She did not succumb to firefighters who wanted to transport her by boat and she was still on the battlefield.
_
"I am not a vegetarian, but fortitude and the will to fight for this cow's life is invaluable. Therefore, I decided to do everything to cause the cow to be delivered to a safe place and in the second stage, as a reward for her attitude, give her a guarantee of a long-term retirement and natural death.”"

ANIMAL AGRICULTURE 👉🏽 KILLING THE CLIMATE & THE PLANET
::::
Livestock and their byproducts account for at least 32,000 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, or 51% of all worldwide greenhouse gas emissions.
Agriculture is responsible for 80-90% of US water consumption. Throughout the world, humans dritnk 5.2 billion gallons of water and eat 21 billion pounds of food each day. Worldwide, cows drink 45 billion gallons of water and eat 135 billion pounds of food each day. Hence the cows consume 6-9 times more than humans. Also, did you know that 2,500 gallons of water are needed to produce 1 pound of beef.
Animal agriculture is responsible for up to 91% of Amazon destruction and 1-2 acres of rainforest are cleared every second. The leading causes of rainforest destruction are livestock and feedcrops. Animal agriculture is also the leading cause of species extinction, ocean dead zones, water pollution, and habitat destruction. Livestock operations on land have created more than 500 nitrogen flooded deadzones around the world in our oceans. For you to understand how inefficient animal agriculture is 1.5 acres can produce 37,000 pounds of plant-based food, 1.5 acres can produce 375 pounds of beef....
70 billion farmed animals are reared annually worldwide. No wonder we need to kill the rainforest grow crops fertilize and destroy our soil and oceans. More than 6 million animals are killed for food every hour.
A person who follows a vegan diet produces the equivalent of 50% less carbon dioxide, uses 1/11th oil, 1/13th water, and 1/18th land compared to a meat-lover for their food.

new youtube video is up!! i would love it if you guys checked it out. link is in bio😌 if you have any video ideas feel free to comment and dm!! i recently found some Hawaiian sweet potatoes at an asian market and, of course, i just had to get some. they tasted bomb🙌🏼 they taste super sweet but not as sweet as a japanese sweet potato. i’d say that they’re in between a normal sweet potato and a japanese. the color inside of these sweet potatoes are gorgeous and i totally recommend trying them out if you haven’t already !!🤤🍠 #whatveganseat #veganfood #vegan #veganism #veganteen #vegansofig #plantbased #veganfoodshare #hclf #wfpb #healthyfood #fitvegan

You’re in a moment in time where EVERYONE must stop being so comfortably unaware. This home of ours we call earth, is factually screaming at us to stop living so unsustainably.
We are running out of water, land, and most of all TIME.
Please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 All the research has been done for you,...take a look at the scientific evidence* (not opinion), and realize we must all do our part before it’s completely GAME OVER.

Tea tasting with Mr. Yabzaki and his organic tea. His tea has a very nice grassy note, an intense presence of umami and a slight hint of astringency. Especially the strong umami note surprised us with this tea as organic teas are normally lighter on this note. So if you like umami this could be a good choice for you.
