Comp bench load is slightly up from last weeks but seemed a little tougher than before. Maybe just from it being a morning session? Final deadlift at 168 kg/369.5 lb for a 4.5 PR and again probably more left in the tank. There was a lot of second guessing myself today, but I went #9for9 and got 4th in my weight class against some really stiff competition. All in all, a great meet! #quadzilla

Typing this up as a break in my 8 hour homework session 😓 On the bright side, the weight surprisingly felt light today. 3x5 paused squats with 315lbs, and my phone ran out of storage on the third set 😒. Then 3x5 paused bench with 215lbs. Participated in my second powerlifting meet today. I’m so very happy with how it turned out! I went 7 for 9 on my lifts, broke the state squat record (raw M1B 57kg) and PR’d my deadlift.
Squat: 93kg (205lbs), 102.5kg (226lbs), failed 107.5kg (237lbs) - I guess my knees weren’t totally locked at the end.
Bench: 62.5kg (137.8lbs), 67.5kg(148.8lbs), failed 75kg (165.3lbs) - it would have broken a state record, so I went for it rather than trying 159.8lbs.
Deadlift: (my weakest lift!) 93kg (205lbs), 102.5kg (226lbs), 110kg (242.5lbs) - a new PR for me.
Thank you @allison.k.ormsby and @twinnovator for being so positive and inspiring! I can’t wait to get stronger alongside you both! 💪😊 New goals: 275lb squat, 185lb bench, and 315lb deadlift.

Lifts from yesterday! Not quite what I wanted but overall a really good meet. Can't really expect a dramatic difference while cutting weight.
But I'm sooo excited to take some time to grow and work hard and get back on the platform!
3/3 on Squat: 275lbs (15 lb PR!!)
1/3 on Bench: 131lbs (could have made better choices on my 2nd/3rd attempts)
3/3 on Deadlift: 303lbs
