Best wishes to everyone that is racing the #princesshalf this weekend but I have to say, I am very jealous. There are some great posts from the 5k this morning or racing to get on a ride. Did you get on Flight of Passage, @tiu_sarah_stevens? It has me dreaming of my next run Disney race.

I’ve been a wee bit MIA this week due to evening outings, working, and let’s be honest, I’ve just been lazy AF 🙈 No workouts have occurred, although I’ve been tracking my meals so my eating has been pretty on point 👌🏼 My goal is to get in the 5 daily moves tonight and some cross symmetry but if I’m being honest with myself, my upper body workout may consist of popping open a bottle of wine and celebrating the fact that the weekend is finally here 🍾

My bump always get so much bigger after I eat dinner! Workout today is strength training from Apptive prenatal program (week 22 👍🏻) and yoga booty beach flow from TIU. Can’t wait to go home tomorrow! 2 work trips in a row stinks!

I probably say this every week but leg day is my favorite day. The way she combines the moves into their sets and everything is just perfect. I think I may actually be starting to like lunges. SHAT?? Who am I?! Haha. It’s pretty amazing to lunge with 20s in both hands when you first started this program barely being able to do 8s. I love the off scale progress this program has brought me.
Have I been perfect? No. Could I be? Yes, of course. But ya know what? That’s not real life for me and this season I’m in. I want to feel confident in my skin but I’m slowly losing the goal of being skinny with 6 pack abs. I’d rather be lean and have muscle. It’s a constant battle in my mind but this program is helping me both physically AND mentally.

Whew what a week and I am tired! My run felt slow and sluggish but I got it down. I wasn't feeling the cardio abs since I was exhausted from my run. So I opted to do booty and abs! my first semester back is in full swing. i think i underestimated the ease of the first week, because it feels like i bit off more than i can chew, but i just have to make it through til may and regroup, maybe take one less class each semester, even if it means taking longer to finish up my bachelor’s degree. 📚➡️ in the meantime, i’ve been yo-yoing with the lc&g lifestyle. we’ve also been having some minor financial annoyances, and at risk of sounding like a broken record, stress is trigger for my binges, and i’ve noticed they’ve become more frequent lately. but, i just need to take it day by day... and TODAY was a GOOD day! 🎈 ps. ‘salad tow’ is luna’s way of writing ‘we need enough 💩 for two salads’ 👌🏼
m1: eggs + nutritional yeast on toast
m2: blueberries
m3: turkey meatball ‘sub’ in a flatout wrap, peppers + hummus
m4: a big ole side salad with almonds + craisins
m5: my fav carrot noodles + turkey meatballs

Yesterday I had one of those premade cookies that had better ingredients but it didn’t have the best flavor. So I whipped up a batch of snickerdoodles with more wholesome ingredients and I have to say they are awesome. I will give some to my family later and have them guess what the secret ingredient is.

It may have been Cardio day, but I’m feeling strong and I don’t care who knows it. It’s amazing how sticking to a workout regimen for the past 34 days can make you feel. It’s kind of sad but I haven’t fully stuck to workouts for longer than a month in a long time.
Nobody is perfect and even ya coaches struggle with finding the motivation. Lets be honest, it isn’t always there. Sometimes you just have to change AS soon as you walk in the door from work and crank it out.

Didn't sleep well last night but had a killer run this morning! I am feeling my speed again. I started at 7.8 then progressed to 8.6 until 3 miles. I varied my incline to get my heart rate up then I decided to push it the last mile! I progressed from 8.6 to 9.1 until 4.01 miles! I was so sweaty that I had sweat stains on my cranberry color capris! Afterwards I only had time for abs! I might count my run as my HIIT workout! Happy Tuesday! Ps if you haven't had the PB ONOs.. go make them asap!!
