Woke up and made 👊 it 👊 happen 👊.
Spent last night enjoying a #lcg meal with #tiuhusband + 🍷 w/ friends. Made for a late night and a crusty-eyed morning [#wokeuplikedis] but I made my studio class with seconds to spare! 💨 Broke up the #5dm as 10-11-10-11 so I could focus on my form and breath. I think this may be my favourite challenge that I have participated in so far with @toneitup! All the positive reminders & posts from the #tiucommunity have been so inspiring. But just because I'm inspired doesn't mean that I don't have slip ups! I would be lying if I said I have completed the #dailymoves every single day and that I have followed the #tiunutritionplan to a T because I haven't! I have had "off days" & sick days and rest days and that is OKAY. 💓 I love that after those "off" days I crave getting back into my routine and I think that's because I'm just so proud to be a #tiugirl ✨ I absolutely love this community and what it has done for me in the past year! And ummm how cute was everything in the #tiulifestylekit 🙌🏻 loving my new goodies! @toneitup @karenadawn @katrinaascott .

7 sole trail miles. Felt good to run by myself after a long stressful week. It was nice to not see many humans and loved spotting my first wild coyote.

Amazing cauliflower crust pizza ❤🍕 so simple too and honestly more flavoursome than most original base pizzas. Just mix cauli rice with 1/4 cup Gouda and 1/4 low fat mozzarella. Add basil oregano and chilli flakes then roll out and bake for 12 mins. Happy Day 6 of @bodybuildingcom @optimumnutrition #250kchallenge2018. I can’t lie today was not my best day at the gym. There was some good parts of my workout like this picture shows but there was also some very frustrating moments for me at the gym this morning. Like I’ll continue to preach this journey isn’t meant to be perfect it’s meant to challenge you mentally and physically. Today we trained legs and I was introduced to three new leg moves which were awkward and challenging for me. The frustrations started coming out because I couldn’t get my form right with two of the moves. I tend to be a perfectionist and sometimes expect things to just turn out good right away. But I know in back of my head if it was easy everyone would do it and no one would try. So days like this truly test me and show me that no matter how tough it may be best thing I can do is keep trying. No one ever failed from trying but everyone does fail when they simply give up. I just wanted to share that it’s okay to have days were you struggle we all do. So don’t beat yourself up to much but make sure you give it another try. I will not give up I’ll just have to work extra hard. Nothing ever in life comes easy and I never want easy. Here’s to crushing our goals and kicking those obstacles to the curb. You are beautiful, you are capable, you are worth it and YOU GOT THIS! #250kchallenge #bodybuilding #bodybuildingcom

Have you tried @kitehillfoods non-dairy yogurt? It’s really, really good (No this is not an ad!) I topped mine with 1 tbs each of rolled oats & coconut shreds plus 1/2 TVs cacao nibs. Then I drizzled in some peanut butter bc #pbforlyf
P.S. I’ve got a new home workout coming up later! 💪

#Truthbomb right here. Do you ever notice how we fear taking the steps to pursue our dreams because we know it is going to require giving up some security? You want freedom so badly but fear giving up the comfort of your current situation ~ even though you might struggling there too. This is the difference between the employee mindset and the entrepreneur mindset. When you crave so much security (which is an illusion by the way because you can lose your job at any time), you confine yourself to a little box where you stifle yourself and your potential for freedom. BUT if you are truly meant for more, that nagging and restlessness inside you will never go away and you won't feel happy until you go for it. 10 months ago the girl on the left was in so much pain she hit her rock bottom. Anxiety turned to depression and that lead to extreme binge eating at night. I closed myself completely in from the world. Even stopped hanging out with my friends and I would wait till stores closing time to go inside and get the food I’d binge eat that night just so no one can watch the 425 pound me walk in. I was in so much pain and I used food as my medicine to heal the pain. Which in the end only made it worse it never healed me. From battling hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s and PCOS I had all the excuses in the book why I was this heavy but I finally had enough on March 14th, 2017 when I couldn’t fit into my favorite plus size store @maurices. I went home that afternoon and threw away all the food went to gym and grocery shopped after the gym. I failed this journey so many times before because I was limiting myself. I wasn’t living a balanced, happier and healthier lifestyle like I have been the last 10 months. It’s crazy to think that my 1 year weight loss anniversary is coming up in less then 2 months. Today I’m celebrating a non scale victory. I wanted to share this picture from 3/14/17 on left to the picture on the right of me tonight 1/19/18. I couldn’t even wear a neckless without an extender but get this I needed not one but two extenders to fit a normal necklace. I can’t even tell you how many inches I’ve lost alone in my neck. You should celebrate your hard work. You should show others how amazing non scale victories feel. Sometimes we focus way to much on the scale and let it solely run our journey and define our success. That’s why sometimes we feel let down when the scale doesn’t move. It’s nice to see the numbers move down but it’s even better seeing those jeans fit you couldn’t fit into or seeing your body shrink in inches all over. Take this journey day by day and just know you are much more capable then you truly think you are. Here’s to crushing our goals and kicking those obstacles to the curb. Happy Day 5 of Bodybuilding.com Optimum Nutrition #250kchallenge2018. Also Happy Flex Friday 💪🏽 to all my #tiugirls. I can’t tell you how amazing I feel just in the last 19 days of January. Also after getting the okay to train my legs start of this month it’s been great. I’ve seen some crazy changes to my upper body and just overall my body in last 19 days that makes me just push even more. I workout six times a week and Sundays are my new rest days used to be Friday’s but just works out better having Sundays my rest days. People ask me how I stay motivated always? Honestly when you want something so bad in life the fight never ends you gotta keep fighting. My motivation comes from seeing how amazing I feel and how much fight I can give. I don’t believe in giving up because I’ve gave up many times in life on losing weight. I still can’t believe the last 10 months how much my life changed for the better. This time around I’m living a balanced, happier and healthier lifestyle that’s why I ever gave up. This is also coming from someone who was a binge eater. You can change your ways you just gotta want it. I hit plateaus and struggled but didn’t give up. The old me tried this before many times by second month I gave up because I was limiting myself I wasn’t living this lifestyle like I do now. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something l. Who are they to stop you from achieving your dreams and following your goals. So what if you fall? We all fall on this journey but it’s how you pick yourself up and continue the fight that makes you a true warrior. Here’s to crushing our goals and kicking those obstacles to the curb.
