It’s 60 degrees in Chicago today and I’m STILL sweating from today’s DMs😅
I was able to complete all 3x21 moves (except for box step ups) with 10lb weights but subbed the pistol squats for alternating step back lunges. My knees are just NOT equipped for a one-legged squat.
I made the mistake of saving the box step ups until last (my gym doesn’t have a box that short so I use a step) and that was a mistake lol. Legs were already burned out so I was only able to make it through 15.
M1 was the coffee smoothie but subbed @toneitup protein for @optimumnutrition double rich chocolate. Also had a pumpkin muffin as I was packing my leftovers for the freezer 💁🏼

This is the face of a person who did not want to get up and go to the gym this morning.. but she did and is super happy she put the effort in! My gym at work is doing a 5 week intro to spinning class! I've taken classes before but never had direction with how to set up my bike or sort out my speed! I can't wait for the remaining 4 weeks.. Stella got her groove back... okay okay, maybe that's too much, but I did manage to get my #tiubootycall in this morning. Day 11 and it's the small victories. It definitely feels like fall now, so to combat staying in my warm, cozy bed I quickly put on the most snuggly sweatshirt I have to get through my 5DMs. These were no joke this morning. It was also a little treat to have the gym to myself. Heading to Boston tonight for a little family weekend getaway, so I've been trying to be extra good this week. Please send all good vibes and encouragement to stay on track while on vacay - going to try to stick as close to the meal plan as possible while doing the daily workouts in the a.m. On another note, anyone ever tried these @vitalproteins collagen peptides? pancakes done right babes 🤤especially to fuel up before another midterm today! Pro-tip to staying on track while traveling for long periods is to research and find a hotel that offers breakfast. For me that is always @marriotthotels because they have one of the best breakfast spreads! Breakfast part 1 and 2 are scrambled eggs with spinach and salsa + an oatmeal packet with fresh strawberries, @vitalproteins collagen, and @traderjoes grainless granola. My 👀 were much bigger than my stomach this morning so I only ate about half of this but it was the perfect fuel post-TIU daily moves + a quick 2.5 mile run. Now I’m off to the airport for my last stop on this work trip,🤞🏻 for no delays. Happy Friday-eve everyone!
Today’s moves 😅💦🍑 I love working lower body. I lifted mostly 20 lbs per hand and dropped to 15 doing 11-10 splits. I think I need heavier weights! 💪🏻😎 not for pistol squats though lol those I do assisted with a chair and no weight at all.
