What is big, chunky, orange and lightly coated in sea salt? Why this amazing ropey close-up from Merry Bee (@abstract_beebuzz) that's what! Isn't it brilliant! We think it looks quite delicious, almost edible, like the equivalent of a Danish pastry from an alternative rope-eating universe. Have we lost you? Sorry about that. Merry Bee is the owner of not one, not two, not three or four, but five, yes that's 5 fabulous accounts, and many, many wonderful rope shots, and she has totally earned her spot in our ropetastic gallery! Check out @beebuzz_street @beebuzz_walls @abstract_beebuzz @merrybeebuzz and @travels_of_merrybeebuz, they'll keep you busy and rewarded! ➿➰➿

Today, for your ropey appreciation, we bring you this cracker of a photo by Burney @burneybayou. Sometimes we are overcome with the need to describe why we love a photo - in this case it’s that stunning light and the wonderful tones. Often it’s to urge you to look further at the artist’s gallery (please do! We had no idea that fungi could be so beautiful!). Other times it’s to tell you a fact (alright that’s more me than Ciaran). This is a fabulous example of a Z (right-handed) twist. There, it’s out of my system. Thank you. Thank you Burney. Thank you all.

It's time for another ropey treat everyone, and today it comes in the form of a frosted feast from the ever brilliant @urbanplinth. This picture is captioned in @urbanplinth's gallery as 'grey', and while I'm one of grey's biggest fans, I do feel that it does this particular image a disservice! To us it looks like it's been sprinkled with a magical silvery iciness, and we love it very much! If the White Witch in Narnia digs harbours, then this would be right up her street! But enough of my nonsense, go follow @urbanplinth immediately, there are stunning ropes galore and so much beauty to be found there.

Hello and welcome back to another week of beautiful ropes! Today we’re delighted to feature this photo by QiQi @soliloquy.___ our first by this very talented photographer. We love the weathered metal, warm chocolate browns, the strong lines. But most of all we love the composition – it looks like the ropes are flowing out of shot and yet it has a lovely stillness, a sculptural feel – one that you’ll see throughout QiQi’s gallery. We’re thrilled to welcome this rope to roperama!
