Wow what a few days it’s been. Today wasn’t my rest day, I took it Friday, because it was a crazy day. That crazy day turned into a crazy weekend (fun crazy). I’m worn out and the last thing I wanted to do was workout. I knew if I didn’t push play, I would have regretted it. Plus, @foodiegirlfitness inspired me to go for it! It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my #80DayObsession journey with you.

I have been on this journey for 38 days. That means we are super close to the half way mark!
I still can’t believe it!! I am super proud of my husband and myself for sticking to this change.
At the beginning of this we were really struggling to push through and we had to modify the moves quit a bit.
Now we still modify a little but for the most part we are pushing through stronger than ever.
This journey has brought my husband and I closer and we have really been able to see our strengths and weaknesses in a different way.
We have become each other’s support and motivation. We push each other and encourage each other to push through and finish strong.
This has definitely become a part of our daily life and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Our life has changed in so many ways in such a short period of time that I still can’t believe it.
This program has been amazing and words cannot begin to express my gratitude for it.
On a side note this program has taught me so much and it still continues to teach me.
I have become more conscious on what I feed my body and I am able to make the healthiest choices when I need to and when life gets crazy at times.
I am definitely becoming the best version of myself possible and I am proud to be the best example for my children that I can be.
This is not easy. It definitely gets tough at times. But like they say nothing worth fighting for is easy in life, if it was everybody would be doing it.
It’s never to late to make the decision to change. You just have to want it bad enough.
Believe in yourself and find the right support and everything will seem easy.
Life is a beautiful thing and you only have one. Why not make the most of it!

Saturday workout! Day 26 of 80 Day Obsession Cardio Flow. So this is the last day of Phase 1 woop woop!! I start Phase 2 Monday. Now let me tell you Cardio Flow is the shortest workout but it is my most hated workout. Lol seriously you guys most hated. This is the only one so far that I do this workout and say f' you, f' you lol seriously those words come out. February of 2017 is when I decided to really focus on my nutrition and becoming the healthiest and happiest version of myself. It has been a fantastic year and one of the healthiest years of my life.
I loved Beachbody products and their fitness programs, so with some help and guidance from an amazing friend and coach, Laura, I became a coach. I was committed to my health and fitness and wanted to help others as well while on their journey. Becoming a coach was such a blessing to me. I have connected with some old friends again, made new ones, committed to my families health and learned so much.
Coaching isn't just about pushing products or programs, it's about forming relationships and helping each other grow in many different ways. If it wasn't for becoming a coach and going through some of the training and getting the support that I did, I may have never gotten the courage to start my own business.

It is such a great family to be a part of and I am so happy to be a part of this amazing team.

This collage was me, a year ago, so proud to announce that I had become a coach! What great memories to look back and reflect on! ☺

Update! This is something I think is really important. It’s perfectly absolutely 100% okay to take a step back from what you are doing if it isn’t working for you right now!! The past two weeks or so, I have just been miserable doing 80 Day Obsession. I LOVE the program. I think it is AMAZING and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to it when I am stronger and more disciplined with my eating/diet. But for now, I’m taking it back to the beginning of my fitness journey by doing Clean Week with @megandaviesfitness!! I’m so excited to take this time for my body. I’m stronger this time around, so I’m excited to see how I’ve improved, but also excited to see how it challenges me! I’m gonna say it again:::: IT’S OKAY TO BACK UP SOMETIMES!!! Listen to your body, give it what it needs, but continue to challenge yourself! 🌺

I always laugh when I think about what the term “healthy eating” used to mean to me, and the way the meaning of that phrase has changed for me throughout the years. -
There are so many opinions on what you should eat and how you should eat. There are so many “diets,” so many trends and fads. SO MUCH INFORMATION. -
Each person has their own thing that will work best for them, because we all have our own DNA. We are not the same, we are complex, variable individuals. -
So how does that help? Where do you start? Start by focusing on whole, real foods. Focus on nutrients and fuel. Throw away the processed, eat the colors of the rainbow, and most importantly; find the foods that make your body feel the best and function optimally. -

Simple, clean meal prep this week. Greek yogurt chicken salad with pine nuts, walnuts, and carrots with whole wheat crackers and sweet peppers for lunch, cantaloupe and pineapples for mid morning snack, peanut butter and celery for mid afternoon snack, and lots of bananas being frozen at peak ripeness for smoothies. 🙃

Today was a productive work day / evening workout it feels good to start working out again been out for 2 weeks since i have seen these numbers getting back to my normal days fitbit days !👍😁

Nutrition is the biggest part! You can do all this exercise, but, if you eat like crap you’ll be doing it for nothing. That’s why I just spent part of my Sunday meal prepping. I don’t go crazy with meal prep and spend all day in my kitchen away from my family. But, my health is important! What I put in my body everyday needs to be on point for me to be at my best. So. I wake up Sunday morning, have my coffee, and plan my meals (including dinner) for the week. You have to put in ALL the work to get results! .

#nofilter .. Didn’t accomplish my day workout goal but I did the Dirty 30 tonight #21dayfixdirty30 ... and I feel it. She’s right I’ll hate her today but love her tomorrow 😝 plus is it even a good workout if you don’t sweat 💦💪 .
