I already told you how much I love pears. One reason is: they are so versatile, perfect for sweet and savory dishes. This pizza I topped with a pesto out of kale, pears, vegan cheese, pine nuts and some lamb’s lettuce. For the dough I used the same as for my artichoke pizza recently (recipe on the blog), but this time I baked it first without the toppings, which I added 15 minutes later (except for the lettuce and a little bit of the pesto), then baked everything for another 10 minutes. At the end I garnished the pizza with lambs lettuce and the remaining pesto. Tell me if you are interested in the recipe for the kale pesto. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Mr. G and I have to recover today, because yesterday was not a very lucky day: In the morning I got a heavy lumbago, I couldn’t hardly move and had to spend hours at the doctor. And at noon Mr. G cut his finger so badly while he was cooking that he had to go to the emergency and today again. Maybe it’s a sign that we should take our time, what you think?
