Whole Wheat Lasagna Recipe🍅
Serves 12.
Calories per serving: 315

RECIPE:
1 package whole wheat lasagna pasta (9 lasagna noodles)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion
1 lb ground beef
10 mushrooms, sliced
28 oz crushed tomatoes (2jars)
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Ricotta filling:
1 package (300g) low-fat ricotta
2 cups spinach
1/3 cup parmesan
1 egg
1 cup shredded mozarella
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cook pasta following package directions.
In a bowl combine spinach, ricotta cheese, egg and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside
In a medium saucepan on medium-high heat cook onion and garlic. Add beef when tender then add mushrooms. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, spices and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a deep lasagna pan, add a few oz of the pasta sauce to lightly coat the bottom. Add 3 lasagna noodles to cover the bottom of the pan with out overlapping the noodles. Add half the ricotta/spinach mixture by dolloping it onto the noodles.Top with 3 lasagna noodles. Repeat steps and top with mozarella.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
