Anyone else get so excited about a new idea or something they want to create, that even though they write it down and set it aside to get on with the current tasks, you just feel fidgety and really really really just want to do it, as if it is the best idea in the whole wide world and needs to be shared right now!⠀
How do you tame your idea excitement?⠀

Three different pairs of quartz danglers have been added to the shop. Each pair was made with stones that are similar but unique as Mother Nature intended. From left to right there is titanium quartz ⭐️, ocean quartz 🌊 and rainbow quartz 🌈 Something tells me these beauties won’t last very long 😍😍😍
Congratulations @katietillerphotography on your beautiful new brand & website! Katie is such a gifted natural-light photographer! I had the pleasure of connecting with her in the @risingtidesociety and we’re pretty much neighbors! It was so much fun to get to hear Katie’s story and help her develop a brand that reflects her heart and attracts her ideal clients 💕

In this current political climate, it's really important that we support women in the culinary arts, whether they're in the kitchen or own a restaurant.
Since Hollywood hotspot @woodandvine brought on Executive Chef @jennifer_oneil, they've expanded their already fabulous menu and now offer Saturday and Sunday brunch!
Who's your favorite girlboss in your local food scene? Shout her and the business out in the comments below so we can make to support her!

Saturday, I spent the morning and afternoon volunteering at a Christmas fair before going heading off for dinner and dessert/cocktails with my lovely ladies.
When I got home
The bed was made
All the recycling was gone and the trash taken out
My computer was charging/ set up
Our new clock was hanging
The fridge was restocked
And an early Christmas present was waiting for me !

Whenever I go out to have fun and live life, I always come home to something wonderful. I asked my man if he could do one of these things and got all of the above, literally. I Leave room for lots of surprises. And the truth is It'a great to have space in love. We get freaked out by it, but don't worry!, it is not the same as distance. Space is good. space is what allows a man to move toward you. 📸 @junipercakery

When Tuesday feels like Monday all over again, and your right hand gal is going on vacation this can pretty much imagine the level of sanity that’s (not) happening right now. #anyoneelse?

Y’all, I am not okay from having read C.S. Lewis’ handwritten speech called “Learning in War-Time” that he delivered to university students in Oxford at the outbreak of WWII. The perspective his words offer even to us in this present time are profound and sobering, to say the least. I also am especially moved by seeing his writing of the doxology in pencil at the end (something that he did not include in his speech but was written instead as a thank you to God for having helped him write it). Taking in such powerful words from someone who has gone before us is so sobering. Lots of people say lots of things these days. With modern media, the spread of empty speech and mass hysteria increases all the more. I want to be found gleaning instead from the past, from those who have already run this race well.
To quote C.S. Lewis as he speaks on learning from the past: “A man who has lived in many a place is not likely to be deceived by the local errors of his native village: the scholar has lived in many times and is therefore in some degree immune from the great cataract of nonsense that pours from the press and the microphone of his own age.”
This is why I love studying history. Do yourself a favor and read the whole speech. 🙌🏼😭 So good.
