This is a great guide to demonstrate how to find the proper sleeping posture for you. It's important to keep your spine aligned during the 6-8 hours you are (hopefully) sleeping to prevent neck, shoulder, hip or back pain! Pregnancy can change your sleeping posture as the baby grows!

What kind of sleeper are you? Side, Back, Fetal, or Stomach?

Are you aware that the position you may be sleeping in can be ruining your posture? Do you constantly complain about aches in your body but cannot figure it out? Here are some cues to keep in mind before you go to bed tonight.

Many of us are not educated or aware that we have created bad habits to a point where our muscles have compromised. Just because it feels comfortable to you does not mean you are fine. Longevity is the name of the game. If you want to perform at an optimal level consistently... start taking action into correcting your posture. A healthy spine leads to a long lifetime...
.
The top 2 examples are the proper way to use aides to support the spine. The bottom example is just a horrible way to sleep. If you do sleep on your stomach, please be sure to use a pillow under your belly to support the spine.

Tag a friend that has horrible posture! Also share this message to help educate your loved ones.

I often get asked the question, how should I sleep?
There is no correct answer. Part 2/2. How to sleep on back!
The trick is to pull the pillow as close as you can to your shoulders, tucking your pillow under your neck for support!
Do not let the pillow go PAST your shoulders though!! Have a try! 😉 Remember, sleep is the only time your body has a good chance to regenerate, heal and recover! Sleeping and resting well lets you stay healthy!
P.s great weather to practice this! * if you have low back pain, it's also great to leave two pillows under the knees or thighs when you sleep on your back to take away tension in spine!!
