Please help me to raise money to rescue children trapped in human trafficking by donating to the website below. I am taking part in a Ping Pong-A-Thon challenge to raise awareness of sex slavery in foreign countries. Your money will go to 7 organisations that help rescue children from modern day slavery. Friends, meet the children of Vutideke! This is Wisdom, Sefan, Richmond, Evelyn, Alfred, and Kwame. They’ve all arrived safely at the rehabilitation shelter with our Ghana staff. Tonight will include dinner and warm beds in a safe place - with lots of smiles not far behind! 📷@alisevey
This beach would have been your final view of Africa as a slave before you were shipped to they New World #slavery #slaverystillexists
What moved time today in the slave castle was the fact the soil on the floor was many years of excrement from those who were unfortunate to be there and that the questions of all the visitors asking why people let this go on were unanswerable #slavery #slaverystillexists
#slaverystillexists this is a thumbnail into the #economic pressures to tag and release young #negro men as early and often as possible. #3strikes until your a #slave for life. Sadly economics are not the only driving force of the #racist #whitesupremist #IndustrialPrisonComplex .

Human Trafficking is a $150 billion (YES, BILLION) dollar industry. It is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world.
Think about this:
Drugs (I am anti drug, so please don't twist this the wrong way. Drugs are even used to keep victims enslaved. Or used to lure them in.)
But for example to explain the travesty of forced labor or sex trafficking, just think about it this way: drugs are sold each day, right? Someone buys cocaine and uses that "batch" once....ONE TIME. And then it's gone. You can't reuse it...
But these girls, these boys, women and men are being used OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN...sometimes within the same day...or even hour.
NO PERSON should be seen or used as a commodity.
No one should be kept against their will or forced to do unthinkable acts.
I want people to know that slavery still exists, but together we can raise awareness, education and come together to end human trafficking.

The joy on Emboy's face is the reason we fight for at-risk children. Life without education is the norm for many children in the Upper Mekong Region, and this often leads to forced labor or recruitment. Education opens the door to new opportunities and to lives of peace. This is why we fight for every child to have the chance to learn.
Delighted to share with you all that our recent partner village of Vutideke released 6 trafficked children to our Mercy Project staff this morning! We are humbled and grateful for the chance to bring freedom and education and family back to these 6. Please join us in celebrating their lives today, and on their behalf, thank you for making this newfound freedom a reality in Ghana!
