Rant for the day:
Took these vital signs on myself the other day early in the morning. That's a heart rate of 58 and a blood pressure of 110/60. I sit at about 10% bodyfat almost all the time. I'm currently doing ZERO cardio. I eat AT LEAST 400g of carbs a day. Some days I don't record my macros at all. I want to put an end to the cardio myth. You don't neeeed cardio to be healthy or lean! Yup, I said it. If a majority of your workout is in the cardio section and your goal is tone/build muscle/get leaner/be healthier/etc... you're doing it wrong! Get to the weight section. Doesn't matter if you're male or female. Doesn't matter if you're cutting or bulking. Don't get me wrong, cardio has its place. But it should never take up a majority of your workouts. Start worrying about how you're training with weights, about what foods you're putting in your mouth (record your macros!!), about staying consistant (stop taking months off!), and contine to read and learn. Your body will adapt. You'll be able to eat more food. And you'll start feeling better, healthier, and have more energy. Trust me. I'm a perfect example. That being said, if you disagree, keep doing whatever you wanna do! Cause at the end of the day, it's your body. You do what works for you! Happy lifting!
