Yesterday's banger sunset with the low fog over the western suburbs of Wellington. Normally us folk up in the hills of the northern suburbs get hit by fog or low cloud but it was a real treat to be above it and watch as the sun set over the top of the lower hills.

The first native mistletoe flowers of the season! .
These were spotted by one of our staff members at the Kaitoke Regional Park (at the Ridge Track). The tui have already found it by the looks of some of the tweaked flowers!
