ROWER ✔️✔️
The rower is a low impact cardio machine that has so many benefits in addition to burning calories. Here are four out of many:
Great core builder. The rower requires stability from your entire abdominal wall and obliques to keep you upright. Out of all the cardio machines, you can count on the rower for the best ab workout! 🚣🏻‍♀️
Complete body conditioning. The rower requires work from every major muscle group in the body. You may also find the rower a little bit more difficult to get your heart rate up. That's because your upper body (or even your lower body for beginners) is probably not used to a high intensity muscular endurance type of exercise. Your muscles start to fail before you can increase your heart rate. Keep in mind that it does take time and practice to establish that unique kind of conditioning. 🏋
You can't cheat! On a cross trainer, you can let your arms rest and make your legs do the bulk of the work or vice versa. However, with the rower, you need both the push and the pull in order to complete a full stride. Pushing your body to failure is what encourages muscle growth, repair and recovery - and THAT is the place where fat burning magic happens! 👍
Great for posture. If you sit at a desk all day, or stand in a hunched position for an extended period of time (ex massage therapist, cook) the rower is the perfect machine for you. When your technique and form is correct, this is a great movement to encourage proper posture. It activates your often neglected lower traps and helps with proper scapular retraction. It also increases the strength of the upper traps, rhomboids and deltoids which all get pulled forward when we are standing or seated in a hunched manner. This is an unnatural position that can lead to very common injuries such as bulged disks, overactive/inflamed stabilizing muscles, pinched nerves and rotator cuff pain. Save yourself a pain in the neck 😎 and hop on the rower if you've been in a hunched position all day!👨🏽‍💻👩🏻‍🍳
If you don't see your heart rate blowing through the roof on the rower when you're first starting out, don't stress. Keep pushing and build that strength and endurance! 💪🙌😁

주말에 사회인 야구를 한다. 야구를 하고 싶어하는 몇몇지인들이 모여 팀을 창단하여 리그에 참여한지 4년만에 리그 정상에 올랐다. 창단첫해는 전패를 했었고 매년 조금씩 순위를 끌어올려 드디어 정상에 오른것이다. 초중고대학에서 선수였던 적이 한번도 없었던 순수아마추어들이 모여 경기를 하다보니 실수도 많았고 패배감에 두려움도 많았었다. 캐치볼 말고는 해본적이 없어서 경기후 집에 가면 여기저기 멍자국도 많았었다. 프로야구를 보면서 "밥먹고 야구만 하는 놈들이 저것도 못하냐?"하며 비아냥거리던 야구팬이 실제 경기를 하다보니 야구선수들이 존경스럽기도 했다. 초중유소년팀과 연습경기에서 처참하게 지고나서 허탈해하던 날이 ~~~ ㅠㅠ
많지 않은 인원의 팀이지만 늘 경기있는 날엔 웃으면서 재미있게 경기했던 시즌이었다.
2017시즌 우승! ANSAN UNITED! 기쁜 하루였다...
