Throughout history, INCENSE burning has been used for personal, medicinal and ceremonial rituals.
(and still continues to be used to this day)

The INDIGENOUS culture believe as they burn dried sage the smoke rises and our prayers rise to the spiritworld.

Similarly the CHRISTIAN's believe as they burn frankincense in church ceremonies that, this is a symbol of the prayer of the faithful raising to the heavens.

SCIENTIFICALLY - the smell of the burning herbs STIMULATES beta-endorphins (happy endorphin) which are part of normal process of our bodies.

SPIRITUALIST, PAGANS and NEW AGE.
Use incense for their craftwork, raising the right energies for what they are trying to manifest.
eg: sage is used for clearing negative energy.

There are many forms of incense, dried herbs bundled up then lit and left to smoulder. Sap from trees are collected then dried, placed on hot coal to smoulder.
Spices and herbs dried and grounded down and made into stick or cone form for easy use.

Peace Out

Every smoker has a story, so before you tell him 'smoking kills', I want you to know that something's already killing him.

Organizing my apothecary shelves brings me peace. 🌹So part two of my video series with my love is now up on YouTube. You can find links to the video in my story & in my bio. 💁We chat about ghosts, the one time John got possessed, & a near death experience. 💀 All real shit, real experiences. We basically dive into a lot of the things that made us believe what we believe when it comes to our spirituality. Side note: There is no one way to walk a spiritual path. Take every photo & experience with a grain of salt (even mine!) because your path might be completely different than mine and that's more than okay!
