Weak as piss on vertical pulling strength as you can see 👆 but I think it’s important to highlight your weaknesses as much as your strengths!

I’m using eccentric focussed reps to get myself stronger, I’ll add weight to these before I move onto concentric pulls etc.

Haven’t been able to do a pull up since I was 19, 95kg and relatively injury free. It’s great 🤙🏻 But at least it gives me something to work on @bournemouthbootcamp HQ!

Do you ever do rope pulls at your gym?

If done correctly they help you achieve healthy stable shoulders that give you among others stronger pull ups and push ups.

When doing the rope pulls make sure you do it as is shown on the right. Keep your upper body hip high and focus on only moving your arms. Keep tension in the upper back (teres major) and chest (pec major). If you grab the rope to far out then you will loose this tension and go to the upper traps. Only reach as far out as your mobility allows. The sled should not be too heave and move fast. If done correctly you will feel awesome!

CHEST TO BAR BURPEES 💥
Is there a faster way to do these and how high does the bar have to be? All questions that should be answered if they come up @jst_competeprogramming 🤔

Nearly managed 10 per minute, but not quite. 🙃
It’s amazing how much gas you find in the last 30 seconds of workouts! 💨
