In photography, and so in life, catching the right moment is the most important thing. There are so much things going on in this picture, so much life, this is what photography means to me, "Carpe Diem" 💘
Stick with me for more adventures around the world, let's travel together 🌍
“Mid-Day Siesta” .

I still refuse to take a nap, even when I am tired. I think it’s a holdover from my toddler years. I always look at mid-day sleep as a waste of time, but now I am beginning to think that I may have been 100% wrong. I need to change that! .

Change is hard, but in our lives the only thing that seems to never change is change; it is inevitable. If we are to continue to grow and thrive, we need to adapt to the changes that face us around every corner. Some of these changes need to involve others to act as a support group, but some can be taken care of with a mid-day nap! .

Beauty is ALL AROUND you ... spend some time really seeing what you see!! . .
All my images are available for hanging in your home and office. Visit me at my website and leave me a comment or two. .

🇭🇺 Pogácsa, aka Hungarian cheese biscuit. This was recommended by many of you and I had to try it. It's a savory pastry with flakey texture similar to scones / biscuit / puff pastry, filled with cheeeeeeeese 🧀. I got them at a small bakery in the central market hall, and proceeded to eat them while walking along the Danube river from the Pest side.

Did you know Budapest is made of two cities - Buda and Pest? I sure didn't until I visited the city. Budapest as we know it today is the result of the merger of these two cities in 1837, making it one of europe's largest and most beautiful metropolitan city. Buda is the hilly area to the east of the Danube river, while Pest is the flat terrain east of the river.

Also, "pest" part in Budapest is pronounced as "pesht"! Say it with me - Booda-pesht. 😃

While in Budapest, I also tried Langos (deep fried dough topped with sour cream), lots and lots of goulash (beef stew), chicken paprika and Kürtőskalács (the chimney cake)!
