I'm supa sick right now so I didn't have content to upload, so instead I present to y'all a deadlift form video since it's one of the more technical compound movements. Thanks to @bradleymartyn for giving me the idea of "pushing the ground away from me" in one of his older videos-its a great way to look at the first portion of the deadlift for the more visual weirdos out there (like your main chimp, me). Swipe for a short demo on what I've found to be the most optimal scapula set when performing the DL under heavy loads.

The 3rd swipe is the best way to grip the bar-ive found- to reduce the chance of tearing those hard earned-woman repelling-callouses of yours and to increase overall grip stability. This is because instead of a soft cushion which will slightly leak energy and cause the bar to roll around in your hand, the bar will be pulling against straight skin and bone, allowing your fingers wrap further around that sweet steel.

Had my first check in with my coach @baumsquadfitness today & weighed in at 137.8 lbs. Started at 140.2 lbs about a week ago so it's progress!!! I stayed completely on track with my meals and workouts! Water jug needs some work but I'll get there 😂 Even went to club duffs without having a single drink all night (10/10 wouldn't recommend) 🙂
I have 5 weight training days + 5 days of cardio alternating between HIIT workouts and steady state on da stairstepper 🍑
I think it's time to start working on my posing because I look like a deer in headlights in my check-in photos 😂 @hannahranfranz teach me plz
I'm more excited than anything to learn and improve as this prep goes on!! I have even more motivation going into this second week of prep 😈 #ChasingGreatness

Have you tried a “budda” bowl yet?! No? Well you should.
Packed full of nutrients - this little baby has protein, low GI carbs and is full of colourful vegetables.
Don’t spend RIDICULOUS amounts of money on quick fixes like “get shredded in 8 weeks”. THEY. DON’T. WORK.
Start looking after your body properly and save the money you WOULD have spent towards a treat like that holiday you’ve always wanted.
Start thinking “long term” not “now” and you won’t ever have to go on a quick fix again 🥥🥦🍓
