Jordan Dalah || Fashion Designer

Hailing from Sydney, @JordanDalahStudio moved to London in 2013 to study at Central Saint Martins. From the age of nine, Dalah had a love for painting and his interest in renaissance and Tudor portraiture gave him his first taste of wanting to pursue a creative career. The young designer has previously gained experience at J.W Anderson and Hussein Chalayan, and is currently further developing his graduate collection.

My edit for #truequeencontest! It's so simple, but I like it 🤷🏽 The first half of the quote is from The Muskteers, and the second from Reign 💜 (And I 100% did not forget to tag @costumesstudy 😏)
Swipe for more collages of the beautiful Anne 😍

Reign Pilot Haul (3/?)
Show: Reign
Character: Catherine de Medici
Actress: @meg_follows
Costumes by: Meredith Markworth-Pollack
Catherine de Medici is the Queen of France and later Queen Mother and Regent of France. Not only did her character grow amazingly through the series, but her wardrobe has as well! .
Unfortunately, there is only really one dress we get a chance to fully see in this episode. Many of her shots are done chest up or with her sitting down.
Her first dress is truly iconic. The jewelry, the crown, and the pattern are very regal. It fits Megan very well and I love the cut.
I love the second dress even though he can't see it very well but red just looks so good on Megan. The texture looks divine. The jewelry on the second dress is beautiful but unfortunately we can't really see any of the dress but I a bit of the material.
I love the brown dress she wears with gold embroidery. It's very medieval looking and beautiful. The last dress Kills me. I want to see it. I want to see all of it. I don't know if I just found bad pictures but I couldn't find any full body pictures of it. And the neck line is beautiful! So why can't I just see the rest of it?! *screams*
I wish I could say more on these but since I have such a limited view I can not say much other then Catherine slays.
Q: Favorite season for Catherine?

[Outlander ~ Dragonfly in Amber. 2016]
“One day while visiting the gardens of Versailles, Claire Fraser leans over a floral display, wearing one of the most gorgeous 18th century ensembles ever seen on any screen. As she delicately sniffs the arrangement, she wears a wide straw hat bedecked with flowers, and sports a fitted light brown dress artfully decorated with blossoms in complementary colors. Striped poles hold up the bright awning that shields the bonbon-laden table she lingers near, and despite the rich tableau of flora, food and fabrics, nothing clashes. It’s a vision from a Louis XV haute couture pictorial, color-saturated and sublimely framed.” -
Very few women have the complexion to pull off real butter, and brown. They are strong, domineering colours. Claire (Caitriona) pulls it off seamlessly. Looking like a muse for a Jean-Honoré Fragonard painting all the while. •
“That brown dress with the flowers, that is a great story. My favorite fabric store is in San Francisco, it's called Britex Fabrics, and I've been going there for years and years. I went in and I said, "I know you have something down in that basement that nobody else would buy. Go down and dig something up." And they come back with that flowered fabric, just magnificent! And the best part of the story is, we roll it out across the table and there's another shopper there. She stops and goes, "That's beautiful, isn't it? Have you ever seen a show called Outlander? It looks like something they'd use on that show." And I said, "Guess who I am?"
It was a fabric that set off alarm bells across the Internet. People were like, "Wait a minute, that doesn't look period correct!" It's not supposed to be. We want to imagine that Claire goes into a dress salon in Paris in the 18th century and says, "Take this off! Move this! Why don't we put the flowers down here like this?" She is a modern woman. So the minute I saw that fabric I knew that it had a feel and a flavor to it that was inaccurate. We really made a choice to go there.” - interview with Terry Dresbach by

I know I promised musicals, but I wanted to do a row of Anne of Austria from BBC's The Musketeers first, then I can include my edit for #truequeencontest! Please forgive me 🙈🙈🙈
I love Anne so much but they didn't half recycle her outfits to begin with 😂 I'm excited to see the lovely blue dresses she wore in Series 3!!! Do you have a favourite outfit of hers out of any of these?
