All my food for the day minus dinner! Spinach egg scramble with 1/2 an avocado for breakfast! Lunch I have baked salmon with asparagus, a Russel sprouts and sweet potatoes. Paleo Instant Pot Chicken Curry 🍛 🔥.

Prep time: 2 minutes.
.
Cook time: 18 minutes.
.
Ingredients:
• 1.2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs (6 pieces).
• 1 tbsp. Curry powder
• 1 tbsp. Ground ginger
• 1 14oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 13.5oz can full fat coconut milk
• 1 tbsp. Garlic or garlic oil.

Directions:
.
1: place chicken in instant Pot, add curry, ginger, tomatoes, salt, and milk from the coconut milk. The cream at the top needs to be taken out with a spoon and placed to the side for later.

2: stir and place lid on. Horn”manual” and reduce the time to 8 minutes.
.
3: once done cooking, quick release by hitting “cancel” and releasing the pressure value. Once air is released remove lid. Remove chicken to a cutting board and add in coconut cream that was saved and garlic.

4: hit “Sauté” and cook for 10 minutes to reduce and thicken. While its cooking start to chop up the chicken into bite size.

5: add chicken back to the pot and mix together. Serve with a side of rice or veggies.

Quem tem hipotireoidismo pode fazer jejum intermitente?
A literatura, na verdade, não abordou diretamente esta questão; porém estudos de jejum prolongado (estado de quase fome) e muçulmanos que praticam o Ramadã (este último sendo mais próximo à proposta do JI) sugerem apenas alterações ínfimas na função da tireoide, mantendo-se, portanto, dentro da faixa da normalidade quando o corpo é submetido a estas condições. Poderíamos concluir então que fazer JI bem orientado por nutricionista e tendo sua tireoide acompanhada pelo médico não lhe causará problemas. O acompanhamento é importante para garantir à tireoide o aporte de iodo necessário para seu funcionamento e também para evitar restrições energéticas importantes que podem deixar o metabolismo mais lento ao alterar a função da tireoide.

Kept it simple for dinner last night. Oven roasted Tri tip (we have no outdoor space to grill) with baked potato with diary free sour cream. So tasty and we had tons of tri tip leftover for lunches which is always a win 😁
