Such an amazing hike to portage glacier. This glacier melts at a rate of 1 foot per day!

Location: #MtScott, a small stratovolcano on the southeast flank of #CraterLake, 70 miles north of #KlamathFalls.

It is approximately 420,000 years old and is the highest point within Crater Lake National Park, and the tenth highest peak in the Oregon Cascades. A small fire lookout tower stands on the summit, at the end of a trail that zigzags approximately 2.5 miles up the mountain. Since it was relatively far away from the main flanks of #MtMazama (the volcano that would later become Crater Lake), it survived the mountain's massive explosion that occurred 7,700 years ago..

Be your walk because you living your talk!
Even though we had a long day on Mexican pothole ridden roads... we had to stop and capture this beautiful sunset.

The plan was to go to LA this weekend, but we got sick and decided that staying around town was a better call. It didn’t really feel like a long weekend, but I’d say we did our best to make the most of it.
Despite the unexpected, we found time to go on a run, play a bunch of Codenames, read to each other, obsess over Black Panther, discover a new Filipino-Hawaiian restaurant, and hang out with this big guy.
Something about climbing mountains makes you feel like your best self. Great shot from @photocait, incredible photographer and mountain woman extraordinaire. What's on your adventure bucket list for 2018? #myback40 #alpinewomencollective
// It was 18°F and extremely windy but I’m still longing to be atop these unique and beautiful mountains.
