Forget “sweating for the wedding”...this girl is SWEATING FOR THANKSGIVING!! And with my 1st “cold temperature” run in the books, I’m feeling pretty good! 👌(yes, that is Buffalo snow!❄️) Yes...there WILL be cheats. extra cardio this week😂
Yes...I have been looking forward to it!

But overall...there will be NO REGRETS!

That is what LIFE BALANCE is all about 👍 Being on track with nutrition 80% of the time and planning 20% cheat meals.
Personally, I think we all need that. No one is perfect so why do we force ourselves to say “I can never eat that!”. That’s just silly.
So workout, eat right, and THEN enjoy yourself on Thursday 😁

Something Amanda has been BEGGING to do forever that I kept rolling my eyes at🙄 (of course I have to make a sarcastic remark at the end 😂) ...and then

I go away for Halloween and come home to a self made chin up/pull up bar. 😑
I just knew she was up to something!

Well, it’s safe to say after getting some bands to use for assistance, we are both super pumped to improve on these weaknesses of ours!

I personally struggle because both require a lot of upper body and back strength. With a weak back like mine, I really hope incorporating these exercises will help to minimize the flare ups that I have 👍

Always looking to educate ourselves on ways to improve our lives...mind, body, soul ❤️

What a difference a year can make.
What a difference a shift inwards can make.
We were vacationing on the Cayman Islands simply enjoying being newly engaged.
A year later, newly married and taking in everything life has to offer still. ...but...we are so different. 👊We are attacking life instead of just letting things happen. ⏱We make use out of our time. 📚Educate ourselves a lot more on nutrition, our bodies, investing, our mentality. 😁Are smiling and laughing even more

Our true changes came from the inside in 2017. Sure, we improved on our nutrition and were more consistent in our workouts, but it was a mental shift we made to realize how much more potential we both have.
We have seen how much Personal development can be a game changer. I mean, how else can you take care of anyone if you don’t make YOU a priority? 👍. These are things we cover when we run our challenge/accountability groups because we want people to find success and happiness in their lives. ❓You ready to take on 2018?! Let us help 😊

No matter how much progress I’ve made, there is always room for improvement!👍 ✔️sweat session complete in Dad’s man cave! So thankful that even when I travel home, there is plenty of space to press play on my workout.

Don’t let these little sliders fool you, I was covered in sweat!

Specifically my lower abs and upper body were on 🔥! But honestly it felt awesome because I know I never work my lower abs enough.
I worked my way up from 2 sets of 10 reps each. Only progress when you feel you need a challenge and have the form right!

And even with that…I am going to HAVE MY PIE 🥧AND EAT IT TOO!

It took A LOT for me to try these on. I went back to the store several times and just eyed them down. I didn’t think I would feel comfortable. I thought only the “perfect models” could wear them. I had this self doubt creep in.😑 That is all bullshit running through my head!
We are the worst to ourselves sometimes until we ACTUALLY face those negative comments and realize we would never say that to anyone else.

WELL…They FIT and they are SUPER comfy! 👍 Never thought I’d actually not only wear them, BUT have boots on too. (Thank you Amanda!)❤️ And even with thanksgiving in a few days, DAMN RIGHT I will eat…and enjoy all the food! But afterwards, it is right back on track.

💥💥Starting Next Monday the 27th, we will have a “prep” week (with an option of a 3 day fruit/veggie/vanilla shake detox)and then go for 21 days of healthy eating. Don’t worry, CHEAT MEALS INCLUDED! 🙌The goal is to feel confident, happy, and more fit going into the holidays.

3 late nights in a row for me is detrimental to my energy level. 💤 I did not want to workout today. My mind was saying NO!

I chose the 35 min speed workout + Abs we did the morning of our wedding 💍. One of my favorites because the workout is with one of the most inspiring trainers and of course it gets me smiling thinking of our wedding morning 😁

Thankful I pressed play because I always feel better afterwards. Much more awake and ready to conquer a long list of things to get done before Buffalo✈️

Yeah...I’m still on this whole pumpkin kick!🎃
So I need recipes to keep me on track, and NOT eating pumpkin pie. I have to hold myself accountable if I’m asking my current health and fitness challengers to!

Vegan cauliflower pumpkin casserole.
Tell me again how this whole healthy eating doesn’t look or taste good?! This one came straight from the Beachbody blog and IT...IS...GOOD!! 🙌

This was our 1st week long vacation (a year ago😭) and from this moment on, we committed in making our life together happy and healthy. 😁👍 We have both been through obstacles in life, whether is was dealing with weight issues, social anxiety, family happenings, etc but find that if we keep a routine and focus on the positive is makes a HUGE difference! **Sure we had cheat meals on this vacation😏, but we still continued our normal routines of getting up, being thankful for the day (and sunshine!!), working out, and smiling and laughing as much as we could. 💥💥We are looking for 5 women ready to shift their mindset into positive thinking.  Implementing healthy living habits to change your mind and body. ➡️Taking the 1st step was the hardest part for me as I did not want to admit I needed help.  BUT, it surely made us both better individuals when we decided to take a step in a positive direction. **Serious inquiries only**

Division 1 college athlete VS now

Crazy / a little embarrassing to admit but I feel like I’m in better shape now then when I was a college athlete. 😮

I’ve learned complete balance in my life. 🍎🥑proper nutrition vs processed foods
💪variety of workouts vs lifting heavy frequently
💤proper rest vs pulling all nighters
And one of the most important things is accountability.
There are so many people in my health and fitness world that support me and hold me to my word. If I set a goal, you better believe they will help me take strides to reach it. 🙌By far the best part are the Support/ challenge groups that I get to run with other coaches 😁

Be the example. Be the role model.
I love that Penelope associates me with running and playing because it is not often we get to spend time together. She thinks what I️ do in Boston is “running” 🏃‍♀️ This girl for the majority of the time is non stop. Playing...stealing parts of my lunch...taking my water bottle...talking...reading...I️t is amazing watching her learn and grow up. 😁Thankfully when auntie laid down to watch a movie, she wanted to do the same with a snuggle session.

Be the reason they want to learn, grow, and be amazing!!

I️ think I’m still in shock. Literally don’t know how it happened. 😮But I️ do know I’m going to start paying attention to the variables that go into this.
5 Miles. 7:58pace.
I️ like running but I’m realistic that I’m not a fast runner. I️ never enjoyed it growing up then in my 20’s I️ went through a break up that had me not giving a crap about anything and wanted to prove I️ could run a half marathon.
Since then, I️ liked how I️ could just tune everything out and focus on me. It is my escape. 🏃‍♀️ I️ guess since incorporating different types of workouts like lifting, MMA, yoga, and speed drills, it improved my running.
So that whole 7:58 clue still how it clue if it will ever happen again...but it has me smiling ear to ear! 😁

"Wow, that is quite the puddle you have there. You must burn a lot of calories"-guy at the gym

It was bound to happen...a comment from someone about how much a sweat 😂

So of course I had to take it straight to eating..."well, that just means I can eat more good food!" I mean...I LOVE FOOD!  Some people have asked me if I just burn a ton of calories and then not eat to stay in shape.  HELL NO!  I have tried that method before and it does NOT work!
Of course, I still do FRIGGEN WORK FOR IT!🙌 I really do push myself in my workouts (duh...look at that sweat pool) but then I fuel myself all day with healthy food that tastes good.  No boring, bland food is going in this body.
It is a process of nutrition---working out---sleeping---hydration....and through it all, holding yourself accountable with the support from others.  THAT is truly how to Live a Healthy Lifestyle!

I was surrounded by pizza, cookies, chips, and candy all weekend!! And yup, I friggen came out on top! 🙌

Looking in the mirror before my run and realize I BEAT THE TEMPTATIONS!! It was not easy. But every damn year I gain weight during November and December and feel miserable. I hate wearing anything but sweatpants and turn into a negative person. All because I have zero will power. So for two days, me being able to say no was a HUGE SUCCESS!👍 Not guaranteeing I can do it again next weekend, but I am sure as hell going to try!! Celebrate the little things 😁
