I'm sure you've heard that eating oatmeal is healthy right? But do you know why it's so good for you? Let me break it down to you! 👩‍🏫👩‍🏫👩‍🏫
Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They are whole grains, which means they haven't been stripped of their nutritious bran or germ.
Their nutritional value include:
🔸️good source of b vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants 🔸️full of soluble fiber which is going to keep you fuller longer
🔸️rich source of magnesium, potassium, and phytonutrients
🔸️magnesium works to regulate blood sugar levels, reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes 🔸️helps lower cholesterol and prevent heart disease

I've never been a big fan of oatmeal until recently simply because I never knew how to spice it up!
👉 if you have a sweet tooth, sweeten it with stevia or honey and throw in some fruit🍌🍏🍓 and nuts (or a nut butter of choice) and BAM you have a delicious and nutrious meal!!! 👉 if your more of a savory person, stay tuned and watch out for my post tomorrow!! This is a perfect 👌 post cross-fit refuel 🙌 carbs and fats to replace energy, and protein to sort out my very sore muscles 💪 PLUS killer flavour 😍 you'll find this in @veganricha Everyday Vegan cookbook - though the recipe calls for 2-3 tsp lemon zest and I whacked in all of 3tbsp! Lemon BOOM 💣 this stuff is incredible!!

Chickpea and white asparagus salad with home grown cress and a (genuinely!) delicious vegan hollandaise made with coconut oil and aquafaba. Ideal if you are avoiding dairy, are still in the throws of Veganuary or just want to try something new. Perfect start of the year fare that is not so naughty but is really rather nice. 🗣Let’s talk today about why you shouldn’t skip breakfast in the morning!!

🔺Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially to prevent weight gain!
🔺A brand new research by Nutrition Research Australia has compared breakfast skippers with breakfast eaters, and delved even deeper to examine how your morning choice can impact your waistline.
🔺They found that adults who eat a bowl of cereal with milk for breakfast have slimmer waists (2cm and less) and get to close to 20% more fibre and calcium daily intake than those people who skipped breakfast..
🔺People who consume cereal for breakfast consume almost a third more iron and vitamin B, which are 2 very important nutritions for general wellbeing health!!

Mixed Berry and banana granola parfait
Serves 1
Calories 343
C - 54g, P - 25g, F - 4g
Ingredients
160g Low fat plain Greek yoghurt
35g popped granola vanilla crisp
75g Banana, diced
50g blueberries
50g strawberries, diced
Method:
1. Pop yoghurt into the bottom of a serving glass followed by 1/3 of the strawberries, blueberries and banana.
2. Continue layering until you finish with granola, yoghurt and fruit on top.
3. Have an amazing day!

Switching over to a high #raw diet has been quite challenging, but without challenge there’s no reward! Feeling productive this week 👌 roasted zucchini fried for lunch with @sietefoods nacho Tortilla chips.
ŽENY NEPLAŤTE RÚŽOVÚ DAŇ ZA PROTEÍN!
Rovnaký produkt, rozdielna cena. S týmto problémom sa dnes ženy nestretávajú už len v kozmetike.
Určite ste už videli “ženský proteín”
s nápisom na chudnutie alebo popis produktu: “shapes body and gets you toned” a na akože “mužskom” - klasickom proteíne
build muscle, bulk up🏋🏽‍♂️. Ľudia nenechajte sa príliš zmiasť marketingom. Fakt je to smiešne, vyberte si kvalitný proteín overenej značky, je na vás či to bude srvátkový, hovädzí alebo mliečny, ale vážne zbytočne nevyhadzujte💸 peniaze za “ženský” proteín, ktorý je taký istý ako všetky ostané. Je to len marketing, nič iné. Pozerajte sa na zloženie proteínu, na obsah bielkovín, pridaných látok, glutamínu, poprípade možno kreatínu. Ale určite by som neodporúčal tie Diet, Ultra Loss, Get shape proteíny. 🤣
PS: Americké štúdie odhalili, že nežnejšie pohlavie zaplatí za rovnaké výrobky a služby ROČNE o 1350$ viac ako muži. 🤨

PS1: Na obrázku je proteín od @kompava.sk - čiže slovenský výrobok, výberovej kvality. Od prvej fázy až po finálny produkt sa vyrába v Novom Meste nad Váhom. Za týmto proteínom a vlastne za celým sortimentom tejto firmy stojí tím výnimočných ľudí (osobná skúsenosť 😊). Nechceme propagovať značku, len dávame na vedomie, že aj tu na SK máme vysoko kvalitné výživové doplnky za korektnú cenu. Som za to, aby sme sa obzerali po svete, až keď máme zmapovaný domáci trh.
