Big advice for those with pain: .
First, you are not broken. You can get better. I need you to be very specific with yourself about your pain. I need you to find exactly what creates it. .
1️⃣ Figure out what specific range of motion or combination of motion and load hurts. (Find with motion or add pressure by pressing into something, or if it’s a lower limb, maybe shifting your weight over it)
2️⃣ Identify that range of motion by going slower than a snail in a snowstorm or like you’re looking very carefully for your glasses without your glasses on.
3️⃣ Rewind ↪️, add load. If load recreates discomfort, reduce load and/or the shift the position until you feel nothing at all.
4️⃣ Hold for 30 seconds at that steady pressure. Relaxed breathing. Release the pressure slowly but don’t move. Repeat for a total of as many times as you want but sure why not try 3 before -
5️⃣ Retest and see if anything changed.
6️⃣ Do this whole sequence ALL DAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. But really, as often as possible. Reevaluating each time until you can’t find discomfort. .
IF ANYTHING GETS WORSE, STOP. ALSO YOU SHOULD GO TO A PROFESSIONAL. LIKE ME. GIVE ME 💰 and I’ll change your life. Learn thyself. Help thyself. It’s possible. You are not broken. .
