IT’S ABOUT TIME! Even the latest research confirms the facts. In a recent article in Shape Magazine that highlights one of my nearest & dearest, Brooke Cates and @thebloommethod, they describe the reasoning like this: “Think of pregnancy like a running a marathon. You wouldn't run a marathon without training, so why would you go into the most physically taxing event of your life without conditioning your mind and body for it first.” #truth @thebloommethod techniques and focus on the core is revolutionizing the pre + postnatal fitness world. In regards to how exercise makes getting pregnant easier : it increases blood flow and circulation to the ovaries and uterus, therefore improving egg health and uterine health, while also keeping our weight levels in an optimal range (which we know affects fertility). AND a new study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, showed that women who exercised before pregnancy had a lower rate of pain around the joints and ligaments of the pelvis during pregnancy than women who didn't. Even more reason to go move your body in ways that you LOVE!
