Lots of people say they want to be Entrepreneurs.
Many think they want to become their own boss.

You see the FREEDOM that is created but you don't always see the GRIND that leads to the freedom!👩🏼‍💻 I want to be REAL with you. I say this because I don't want you to sit back and point fingers thinking Entrepreneurs are LUCKY. Don't for a second think it's all glamorous trips, high paychecks while watching TV, and play dates with your kids.

Nope. 🙅🏼 That's not how this Entrepreneur life works.

It takes grit.
It takes grind.
It takes pushing past fears.
It takes EARLY mornings and late nights.
It takes times of sacrifice...doing things that don't pay off quickly but may eventually.
It takes getting outside of your comfort zone.
It takes failure....but never quitting.
It takes a mindset that many don't understand.

But you know what---it's WORTH it!

Building #TheLegacyProject has taken work.
It still takes work.
It takes showing up every single day.
Even when I don't FEEL like it.

I have been up since 4:30am.
2 hours of work for #TheLegacyProject done while everyone else slept.
Then got the kids up and ready, fed, off to school in 2 different cities.
Then drove 45 mins to see PT patients for several hours.
Now back home for more grind until the afternoon craziness with school pick up line, Mom's birthday celebration, workout, family time, then bed.

And then I'll be up another 2 hours after everyone else snoozes.😴 Why would I do that? Is it worth the hustle?

Freaking bet it is---Cause come Wednesday morning I am "OUT OF THE OFFICE." By MY choice. ✌🏻🙌🏻 No begging my boss to get off this Thanksgiving. No stress trying to find another PT to cover me.
No worrying about if I will get fired.
No worrying about if I have enough vacation time.

No freaking permission needed.

It's not luck. It freaking GRIND and GRIT.

You either have it or ya don't. #truth 💣

A few years of grind could give you the freedom you desire. Can ya handle the sacrifice to make your dreams come true?
Is 2018 going to be the year you start creating the life you are dreaming about?🤷‍♀️ Or are you going to keep creeping?

Nice and sweaty after my workout! I did NOT feel like it but on the other side, I am so glad I did. I know you’re busy today with holiday prep and the other 501 things on your to do list. Don’t forget to take time for you!

It’s SO easy to talk ourselves out of doing what’s best for us or would push us to GROW because it’s scary, hard, not perfect or unsure 😅🙈😬

Never miss a Monday, right?! Today that meant a 10 minute stretch with @wheybyj and #teamaap in the corner of our kitchen 🤷🏼‍♀️ Even though it’s not much, I genuinely feel better after that small amount of activity 🙌🏻 I am guilty of neglecting stretching way too often and that’s something I want to change. Speaking of change, who is interested in a 6 week #StepBet challenge starting on 11/27? Basically everyone puts in $40 and has personalized step goals they have to meet to get their money (plus some!) back at the end of the challenge. It’s not about weight loss or gain it’s about moving your body and feeling better during the holidays (when we tend to put our health last). Comment if you’d like more info! ps: I’m living in the new joggers from @senita. I may never take them off. You want these for Christmas 🎁 .

Making a commitment to myself before all the festivities begin this week to get my workouts in, be present with my children, and give thanks for the many things I have been blessed with. .
It’s often around this time of year that we sit back to thank those around us and to give thanks for all we have, but truly, it should be done more often. Why do we save those thanks for one week or one day of the year when we should do it every single day? I am so guilty of this. Making changes so that my babies can learn to be thankful for more than just this time period, but for everything and every day. .
Today I am thankful for the ability to work on myself, for myself, for my family ❤️

He wasn’t too into getting his picture taken 🤷🏻‍♀️ but at least we captured some precious shots. Facial expressions or not, this is who we are, I wouldn’t want it any other way! 😉

Burning off some fat with HIIT! This is like my 8th set of jumping lunges (hence the wobbly legs) after trying to video previous sets with another camera that turned it to be really grainy back to the good old iPhone. 😅 I use a Tabata timer set with 8 circuits of 20 secs work followed by 10 secs rest.

Last Sunday it was this 🌊 and this Sunday was pajamas all day 🏡 and I’m totally okay with it. Literally, Grace stayed in her pj’s all day.
