🚫Don't no be ashamed to perform the modified version of any workout. It doesn't mean you are lazy rather it means you are better than that person sitting on the couch, eating pop corn and watching you. I perform the modified version most of the time too. The aim is to be physically fit and mentally healthy.

Can't believe it's been a week since I posted here! Whoops!
•In that week, I've taught 3 brand new group fitness classes, all from programs I wrote myself! • I'm also changing my business name and rebranding (more on that later), so that's kept me busy. • I started a 10 day #pilates challenge with @thebalancedlife this morning.• I have class to teach tonight. • I have a sick baby (currently passed out in my lap). • Starting today, going #dairyfree #grainfree and #sugarfree for a little while... so mostly #paleo. I've had some inflammation, and want to address it. (That may change to a #whole30 in a few days, but I do have some tofu I wanna eat this week.)• Still doing #80dayobsession (It's week 6!).• just all around BUSY.

Anyway, I just wanted to check in. It's Monday and I'm here and you're here. I hope you have a beautiful week. Let's get this party started!!

Many look for the numbers for results. Gradually, I have learned to assess change based on what I see within myself & how I feel.
And how I feel right amazing.
Wrapped up Phase 1/3 of this program and decided to go ALL IN. I decided I was going to trust the process, follow the advice, not assume I knew better & just be a student. I was going to learn from a plan the was tested, proven & laid out to follow. .
These changes have no numbers but they are VERY real signs of change:
✅ more energy ✅ no bloating
✅better sleep
✅improved skin ✅gained strength ✅more muscle definition ✅⚠️NO MIGRAINES .
These indicators are HUGE for my quality of life and they surpass the numbers that HAVE also come along within the past month:
⬇️6.5 inches ⬇️8 lbs. .
I have done many programs, but started this at after completing my first half marathon & a tough weightlifting program. I had felt strong training & did my best to balance nutrition for runs & maintenance. But, I heard the voice inside that knew I needed to switch things up. .
I started to feel the difference with THIS program in just ONE WEEK!
Why? .
Because it structures a plan that guides fitness AND nutrition - instead of winging it to the best of my ability. The meals fuel me more consistently & the workouts are different EVERY day, which keeps me intrigued and motivated to see what comes next. .
Our bodies begin to feel the impact of changes when they start getting what they’ve been craving. My training was structured, but my nutrition had become more lenient. Little indulgences that had become more habits than treats were adding up. .
I feel the SAME excitement I did when I started this journey. There’s a burst of joy for my healthy habits that makes me want to SHARE 🤗. All we have to do is START! Trust the process ....and ourselves!! .
Happy to be the MENTOR now and show YOU how to work this program too! I have ✌🏻 more phases to go and am not stopping!! I will pass the info & run alongside you!! Less waiting, more living 💃🏻💃🏻

It’s a new week! What’s on your agenda and what challenges are you facing this week? And how do feel about those challenges? Or more specifically what’s your attitude towards them? Do you already believe you’re defeated even before you’ve begun? The battle to solve problems and challenges do begin in the mind before anywhere else. Have the attitude that problems are a learning experience, an opportunity for growth.
And if you see yourself staring at a dead-end, look again. Life is never a dead-end. There’s always a way out and have a humble attitude to ask for help. Let somebody in to help you with the battle. You never have to do it alone...don’t believe the lies that discourage you. Win that battle in your mind.

Anyone else reach for carbs when they don’t feel great? 🙋‍♀️ My headache was making me nauseous and so I reached for a bagel instead of something “healthy.” No regrets. I feel better (after taking medicine & drinking lots of water too).. and I know this day isn’t going to ruin the progress I’ve made or my future results. This is LIFE - sometimes you just roll with the punches. ••link in bio if you’re ready to live that NoRegretsLife too••
Our society makes plenty of room for complacency and laziness...we’re rarely surrounded by accountability.

This is not okay.

How many times have you bailed on your self care to watch TV?
How many times have you given up before you even got started?
How many times have you made real progress, only to face a setback and then give up completely?
How many times have your family, friends, or coworkers watched you quit?

Let me repeat myself.

Where do you shop for groceries? Does the thought of meal planning and prep overwhelm you? The Swipe 💳, the ouch to your pocket book 🤑. +
Fueling your body with the right foods is important but often overlooked because your health is expensive! Healthcare is the most expensive it has EVER been. Families often are on split insurance plans just to keep their premiums low (🙋🏻‍♀️ hey that’s my family). Add on student loans, your first mortgage, your very first car loan, baby bows [guilty] and all of the utilities. It adds up quick. I stick to a pretty consistent budget. +
My secret to my healthy eating budget? Making a list and sticking to it. I look at adds prior to meal planning and base my next weeks meals on what’s on sale. I don’t take my husband because then we would have a cart full of pop tarts and salsa 🤦🏻‍♀️. This is my Aldi Haul today. Such a colorful variety at a price I could bare. +

This workout is hard. Most of the moves are named after animals so it gives going to the zoo a whole new meaning...The zoo is in my basement.
It’s my least favorite workout of the program and it always falls on Saturday. I could give up, make excuses, do something else, tell myself it’s too hard, or I could just say the hell with all of that and I’m getting it done. Doing what is hard is what changes you.
Take a deep breath and believe you can do it no matter how hard it may seem. If you’re all up in your head saying “I can’t, it’s too hard”, then you won’t because that body of yours will only go where your mind will let it. If it’s suppose to be hard then it should feel challenging. You probably won’t get it perfect the first time but you keep trying. That’s how you succeed. If you tell yourself, “YEAH... it’s gonna be hard, but hell YEAH I’m doing it” you will get there. Maybe not today, but you will. You gotta push yourself, challenge yourself, but stay positive and success will come. 💪🏻 Mule to frogs... I will master you.

Natural weightloss (eating right and exercising) is not a medical surgery where they suck out your tummy fat and add then to your butt or breast. If you want to shed unwanted fat around your abdomen then be ready because every other part of your body that has unwanted fat will respond to the treatment. You cant spot weightloss. The #weekendhustle always tempts me to put off my workout. (👆🏼👆🏼IG stories!)
A few practices, a few games, then throw in a Birthday Party and the last #DateNight before Mike has to report to Spring⚾️Training and, just got REALLY busy for this season of our life!
It would be SUPER easy to just give myself a pass on working out bc of today’s fullness. But, How is that going to HELP me? What is going to come from that? Nothing good I know that for sure! 🙌🏼
I know that some might think it’s selfish to let my kids play a video game or watch a show (or
3) while I carve out 35 minutes in our day to take care of myself. After, we are #verybusy and I’m sure there are things that need to be folded, I mean get done, around here, 😉 but taking that time to exercise undoubtably helps me serve my family as a mother, wife, and friend! .
I’m so grateful took a chance on an at home workout (cuz those never work,right?😉) and now I have literally hundreds of workouts to help me! It helped change me from inconsistent gym girl to the strongest version of myself I’ve ever been (⬇️almost 50 pounds) 🙌🏼💕
That’s simple math for me. Finding ME, truly for the first time, through small steps everyday by learning a healthy lifestyle! I don’t workout bc of the way it makes me look (although it is a great feeling to feel confident in a bathing suit!)—I work out bc of how I FEEL!! .
Literally saved by grace when I started his journey 2 years ago! I can’t believe where I am today and I honestly can’t help but share the joy! 🤩

FOURmidable 50k: 2nd place in 4:54!!!

I made a LOT of rookie mistakes...didn’t eat or drink anything till mile 9, then didn’t eat again till mile 23. I thought I had 2nd in the bag then with .8 to go I looked over my shoulder and a girl was RIGHT THERE. I mustered up every ounce of strength I had, put a little gap on her, then suffered the last .5 mile. I had ran over 30 miles and I was suffering so much I legit didn’t know if I was going to finish with under a mile to go.

My training was FAR from perfect...only had a 8 week buildup, missed a critical week of training due to an injury, and my overall fitness just isn’t in top form.

This race was all mind over matter. I probably should not have taken 2nd; there were a lot of legit women in this race. But I wasn’t going to give in to a single excuse and I put every ounce of fitness that I had into all 31 miles of this race and it ended up working out.

I’m not some super hero; you guys ALL can accomplish big goals like this. I am a FIRM believer we can do much more than we would ever give ourselves credit for. You just gotta dream big, get out of your comfort zone, and focus on taking one step after another. Seriously, we CAN do hard things. YOU can!

And lastly in this huge ramble, this race was made possible by my AMAZING coach, confidant, crew chief, and husband. It’s hard not to work hard when he is 110% invested in helping me get there. My kids too. They not only motivate me to do hard things, but they are patient and let me take time to train. And not to mention post race they were so sweet. And last but not least, I have the best friend, family, neighbors, and YOU ALL. Thanks for help with kids & just caring about little ol me and my goals. You all are the real MVPs 👊🏼👊🏼#trialsandmiles
