What do you do when you need to reset? When I’m running on empty, I go spend time with my Mother Nature 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I don’t have an uplifting quote or awe-inspiring advice, just honesty. And honestly, this has not been a good mental health week, I haven’t been the best Rachel, and I haven’t been able to keep my chin up as often as I’d like. Life gets tough....most of the time it’s tough. You’ve gotta forgive yourself for not being the strongest 100% of the time. Take care of yourself, do better tomorrow. Had such a positive day today at the Exhale Mental Health event.
My Breathing Workshop was full and we had lots of laughter! The Yoga for Stress and Anxiety Workshop went down really well, so many people now considering yoga therapy as a mental health treatment.
Can't wait for the next one in September.

Today's my three-year New York-iversary. Three years since I decided it was time to practice what I preach, go after a hazy dream, and invite in the accompanying discomfort 🤗. .
Some days I think, "Wow I thought I'd be further ahead by now. I thought I'd be more successful or in a relationship or have a bit of a life-plan." But most of the time I think, "Girl, you're exactly where you're supposed to be.” 💕
Because I've realized the goal was never to "make it" or "change the world" (though I'm still working on that 😏). The goal was always this: practice riding the waves of uncertainty and hope and disappointment and lust and heartache and shame. Learn how to be with them, when to question their accompanying stories, and when to be open to their wisdom ✨. .
And above all, remember everything passes - the painful, the pleasurable, the mundane, our time here. So pay attention to and let yourself be enamored by the adventure. We all in this shit together 😘.
Feeling pretty fucking grateful for the incredible people and opportunities these last three years have brought into my life, and just as grateful for the let-downs and the sociopaths 😜. #stillhere #followyodreams #comeatmelife

There's nothing wrong with offering a hand or that listening ear, but always view your energy as balance that varies, which means there may be times you can not offer that listening ear not because your are a bad friend, but you have spent all the energy you have and you need to rebuild that energy balance again

Think, research, listen to your body, and make a decision informed by science before succumbing to what society is telling you to do. I’m so lucky that my own struggles led me to learn about #intuitiveeating. It’s never about the food and diets are definitely not the answer.
