Paused Bench Press, Not my favourite exercise but definitely working,

Why am I doing paused bench? Simple, if I deconstruct my bench, I notice my shoulders and elbows go slack on the final inch of range down the bottom, why? Who cares but they do and it can be fixed.

Paused bench forces me to stay "tight" through my shoulder, keep my wrists locked and my scapulae locked.

This is 72.5kg for 12 at 72Kg bodyweight.

I am happy with how this felt especially after two Working sets of Bench. After watching this and my bench videos, I am realising just how much of my bench is Mental,

All of my working sets look like a new PB until my very last rep where I am suddenly failing

Here is the thing, I am aware that I am no where near my limit on this work out but the magic three figures has always alluded me, and because of that I have put it on a pedestal.

NO MORE, I am not happy until I am at a double body weight bench so we have adjusted my program to improve my bench as quickly as possible.
