GOOD CARBS VS. BAD CARBS FOR YOUR TESTOSTERONE by @liveanabolic -
Carbs are important for men’s health and testosterone. Which, may sound like Breaking News. After all, today’s diets hardly promote carbohydrates. According to a study published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the neurons in your brain responsible for releasing the hormone GnRH that ultimately sends signals to your testis saying, “let’s produce more testosterone”... is dependent on carbs (1). -
Now, get this... There’s a drug called, Diazoxide - which, suppresses insulin release and prevents glucose uptake in your cells.. Well, this same drug, which prevents carbohydrate uptake is also known for lowering both free and total testosterone levels in men. This according to a publication in the journal, Clinical Endocrinol Metabolism (2). -
Another study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology shows resistance-trained participants who ate more protein and less carbohydrates, had lower testosterone production... In fact, the relationship showed the larger the protein to carbohydrate ratio... the bigger the drop in testosterone. They call this a “dose-dependent” response. -
Okay, now, what kind of carbs should you eat? Well, before we get into the specific foods, it’s important to note we want to stay away from gluten. Why? -
Gluten has been shown to increase prolactin levels. According to a study published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine, high Prolactin consumption is shown to decrease testosterone. -
Which is why you won’t see any gluten on the "good carbs" side and all the gluten on the bad carbs side. If you're serious about your testosterone health, avoid the gluten that's found in "whole wheat" bread, brown rice and most oatmeals. -

#ShahGreenWorkoutTip TRAP BAR SHRUGS WORKOUT: This is one of my favourite routines for Shoulders + Back workout (Focus on Deltoids & Trapezius areas). This routine also can help to gain more back muscles in the lower trapezoid area too. Happy trying! I look so thin & small. I need to gain bigger muscles! 😭

✅Normally i will do TRAP BAR SHURGS WORKOUT for 3-4 sets:
- Set 1: 20 kg 👉🏻10 reps
- Set 2: 40 kg 👉🏻8 reps
- Set 3: 60 kg👉🏻6 reps
- Set 4: 80 kg (optional)👉🏻4 reps
‼️In each set, REST: 45 secs between sets

‼️‼️‼️‼️REMEMBER! Each reps buat in moderate speed. Jangan buat too slow or too fast. Why? Nanti muscles tak sempat nak contract & relax back in full level. Jaga breathing & body posture technique yang betul. Jangan paksa diri kalau tak mampu. Biar slow progress but effective. Takyah nak ikut orang. Get to know your own body type, go for your own aim & goal. Jaga permakanan & tidur yang seimbang. Paling penting stay away from ALL DRUGS especially STEROIDS. Body kau nak pakai lama beb. Goodluck semua! NEVER GIVE UP ok!
