I wasn’t “born to be a momma” know, those women that are just born for that reason. They are so great with any baby, not just their own. Patient and entertaining, ALL THE TIME. Yeah, not me. I was born, however, to be Roam’s Momma. He chose my path and my ways. He chose my flaws AND my gifts. So when I have times of overwhelm or thoughts of not being “good enough” arise, I try to remind myself that Roam chose me. He could have chose you and your flaws and gifts, but no, he chose me. So no matter how hard being a mom (or parent for that matter) can be, it helps to stop and remind yourself that your babies picked you. That alone, means you’re enough. You are enough of what ever it is that little soul(s) needed in this lifetime. 🙏🏼💙🌏

Stole this from page because it was just such a clear and good point. Why aren't we protecting half of the people?

For those of us who resist change, we’d sometimes rather stay stuck, even when it means continuing to suffer. We think- “at least I know this pain, pain or not, I know it won’t kill me.” But what’s hard to see is that it is killing us. Resisting change eats away at our body mind and spirit, breaking us down little by little, eroding our heart when all it wants to do is fly free. 💛 Change is the answer, even when it feels like a torture sentence. Change is growth. GROWTH is life. 💫
