Results of 4 weeks:
- SW 208.6
- ‎CW 201.4
- ‎total weight loss - 7.2 pounds ///// Well my 4 weeks of keto is up today. After the initial stress before I even started and the first few days starting with carb withdrawals, I will say it went pretty good.

I definitely freaked myself out in the beginning more than I needed to. I put too much stress into the planning of it and this almost deterred me from doing it. I'm glad I stuck on there because once you start down the path, it isn't has hard as I expected.

What else have I got out of this 4 week experience...
- I love bacon. Oh geez. That is some good stuff. 😂😂 haha
- ‎I have also developed a love of almond flour (not so much coconut flour).
- ‎I have learned meals can be enjoyable without a lot of carbs. I always felt meals needed chips, bread, etc. Shocker - not true! 😉😉 haha

Overall, I am very happy with the weight I loss given that in the past 5 months I have pretty much been maintaining. So I happily take this loss.

I have decided to carry this on for another 4 weeks. I do not think will be a long term thing but right now my plan is to go in 4 week sections. Maybe after this 4 weeks, I increase my carb allowance and lower fat. Then rotate back and forth so my body doesn't get stuck. Plus, I just don't know of eating so much fat is great long-term. I will feel better mixing it up.

So for now, another 4 weeks of keto and go from there. That's the thing about a lifestyle change, it is always changing. You have to learn to adapt constantly.

Birthday weekend celebration over. Back to reality. And I'm happy about that! It was fun to indulge but I got a reminder of how my body feels when I go off track.
